I was a Jehovah's Witness for the first 30-odd years of my life, and neither me nor the many hundreds of other Jehovah's Witnesses that I knew would have ever been offended by the mention of birthdays in a test. Why are they being over-sensitive in retarded ways?
So very wrong.
Opening a box does not mean you agree to the EULA. The sticker usually just states that by using the software you agree to the terms of the EULA, not opening the package itself.
First Amendment rights are taken away from people who use it to endanger others' lives...ie. yelling "fire" in a theatre, and hate speech. Why should a person's right to bear arms not be taken away when it's shown that they are endangering others' lives by using that right recklessly?
Umm...you think you'll be able to use your LCD TV with this to get a 3D image? Your TV will also have to be a new 3D model, there are a few of them for sale now I believe. Then the type of glasses you use (shutters vs. polarised) will depend on the TV you bought.
And all of this means that NOBODY will support it. There is no way that the cable company, or iTunes will show you a movie for free because you purchased a copy from Best Buy or something and registered the key when you brought it home.
Basic knowledge? I hardly think that an obscure element on the periodic table is basic knowledge. It's not like they're selling naming right to the alphabet.
I disagree with the notion of selling the name also, but I won't go so far as to say it's basic knowledge.
In related news, for the first time ever an iPhone was used in a colonoscopy to detect cancer. Using the sleek design to its advantage the device was able to "get in there" and take the photos required. The doctors said it was a success...the patient said "Ow!"
What is the jitter spec of a human body when a taser is applied?
It's crosstalk between wavelengths on the same strand. Read up about CWDM and DWDM.
I guess their Phase Lock Loop failed.

You Sir, are a God for typing that out!!

I'm a chick magnet and thus chick have no morals when they're around me.
It came back marked "Return to Sender." Granted Celine Dion is still down there, so we pulled a fast one on them in that regard.
They can have our Francophone culture...We'll give it to them for free.

I guess Monster is a shoe-in then.

All unregistered frames now go to an error image. It states that they can't provide a registration number at this time. Looks like they caught on.

That would be funny. But not as funny as getting horse heads in FarmVille for use in Mafia Wars.
This tends to disagree with your first point.
Sure it was only a "section" of the country...but it was 55 million people. Can't really call that kind of think "overstated."
frighteningly
impoverished
There you go again...taking a normal word and adding "ing" and "ly" to the end. And then you top it off with "impoverished?"
Snobbish bastard aren't you?
Bring on Super Hi-Vision (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Hi-Vision)
Demoed years ago by NHK. It's basically 1080*16 (4x4).
Funnily enough, you were all of those things at one point. Given your attitude though, I wish your parents had been sterilized.

but they'll spend $18 bucks on a kid's DVD to get the little bastards to shut up for 90 minutes.
Not much of a family man are you?

The same could be said for electronic voting machines...
All my LOL's are belong to you.
