"but think of your kid's future" (everybody nods)..
"but then we'll have to rase taxes!"(everybody argues)
"Comeonnn!" (oh the kids, the kids)
Principal Skinner rubs fingers together (crowd argues, someone points out the finger thing means rasing taxes)...
Reminds me of the short film done on Late Night with Conan O'Brien featuring the dog with the cigar. He spends all day taking the piss out of a line of Star Wars fans dressed up waiting in line to see one of the earlier Star Wars flicks.
I do it similar to the poster above, just copy/paste into a text file and import it. I don't see where the $6.00 comes into it.. my banks online banking facilities are free, as is OpenOffice.org.
Where the heck is the free Xandros Open Circulation 3 download? The downloads page only lists version 2 which is really out dated.

Yeah, but when you view the search listing it looks as if the images are on its site (I realise their not). They should probably just provide a text link if anything at all, or even limit results to things likephotos, clipart etc, and not every dam image on your site.
I have always had an issue with Google providing copyrighted images on its site through this service. They should probably be asking each copyright holder for permission first, like every other site on the net. I realise this is not feasible, and is simply avoided by a robots.txt file, but the onus should be on Google to ask for permission rather then the copyright holder to prevent unauthorised copying.
It's any wonder something like this hasn't come up sooner.
Pretty freaky "Big Brother" stuff, but I guess its a good way to track students. But then I remember school being better when the trouble makers wern't there beating up us nerds..
I was about to ask if /. editors proof read before posting. Silly question, no I'm not new here!
In other news, scienctists bring a Velociraptor back from the dead, sic it after missing rat and find a use for itssick-claw.
My intent was not to troll, it must just be a slow news day today.
Ok, there is no doubting this is a good thing, but is this really "news for nerds, stuff that matters"?
"I felt the slime drip out of my anus. I put my pinky finger up there and gave it a lick. So good, like warm honey and milk. " Err.. like wtf?
why bother?

Check out the Linux Profesional Institute exams at http://www.lpi.org/, I'm going to undergo the first two (level 1) exams in a few weeks.
"So in your signature, you state 200GB is not enough. Are we to believe that all 200GB is work related?" According to *my* tax return it is.
