How about waiting for customer reaction to Final Fantasy XII first? I played the demo, and I despised the dungeon crawling. I know that I'm probably the only person in the world that doesn't like MMORPGs and doesn't mind random battles, but one should probably see how a product fares before releasing a successor.
I don't know that my late-model Xbox is soft-moddable, and even if I were to chip it, I wouldn't know where to get a compiled XBMC. Which is sad, because XBMC was the whole reason I got an Xbox.
Has Microsot ever rewritten 60% of the Windows code? I mean, since Windows NT, most everything has been incremental upgrades. The underlying ntoskrnl.exe runs code about the same across the board, right?
If an airplane is travelling at 200 MPh, so are the bombs that it's carrying. If an airplane is travelling at 900 MPh, so are the bombs that it's carrying.
Fair enough. But I made $21,000USD last year. I have 5Tb of storage in my house already (got some good deals on 250GB drives). I was speaking more from a more-storage-than-I-know-what-to-do-with perspective (though Bittorrent might make that point moot soon enough) than an enterprise perspective.
My father was slaughtered by a six-fingered man. He was a great swordmaker, my father. When the six-fingered man appeared and requested a special sword. My father took the job. He slaved a year before it was done. The six-fingered man returned and demanded it, but at one tenth his promised price, my father refused. Without a word, the six-fingered man slashed him through the heart. I loved my father. So naturally, I challenged his murderer to a duel. I failed. The six-fingered man left me alive, but he gave me these. I was eleven years old. And when I was strong enough, I dedicated my life to the study of fencing. So the next time we meet, I will not fail. I will go up to the six-fingered man and say, "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
Bram Cohen obviously has the right to protect the name: the software is open source, the name is not. But more than that, he's protecting the reputation behind that name. He's not attacking the coders of Azureus, or even tracker-websites like UnrealTorrents that use part of the trademark in their name. No, he's going for people using his trademark maliciously...attacking spyware in the way that is easiest and best for him. Certainly this stirs more pots than just me running AdAware on my Windows box, no?
It's been well known for a very long time that Jimmy Doohan helped create the Klingon language. He created the Klingon dialogue for Star Trek 1, which Marc Okrand developed into the tlhIngan'Hol we know today.
I had forgotten about CD Tradepost...both them and GameXChange are regional...the farthest out I've seen a GameXChange is Joplin, MO, but I haven't exactly gone looking.

Don't buy machines. Buy parts. Assemble.

Core Duo does -NOT- have EM64T support. It's successor core will, but the Yonah does not.

Have you ever heard of Nintendo's Power Glove? No? Exactly.
(If you have heard of it, then you still know why.)

But what kind of performance does this give on relatively small ( 10Tbytes) file systems? Petabyte arrays are still kind of out of reach for most.

Hot on the heels (okay, not too hot) of JoWood's cancellation of Stargate SG-1: The Alliance. Excuse me if my confidence falters.
Hopefully this game will take place in both the Milky Way and Pegasus galaxies.
Our corporate firewall doesn't allow Coral Cache'd links (probably the irregular port).
And it was also the only Trek series to acknowledge what holodecks would REALLY be used for.
Not the only one...there were a few episodes where the vulcans on Voyager were doing the whole Pn Farr bit, and needed some, er, relief...
All-In-Wonders don't work too well on Linux, 'mafraid.
Wow, if ever I wanted mod points, this would be the time. Bravo, good sir.
I wear Wal-Mart clothes. I can't afford anything better, because I just blew $2K on a MacBook Pro.
And specifically that the "Intell bunny guy" was none other than Paul Otellini, Intel CEO?
A skydiver outfitted with jet engines and a nylon Birdman suit I was expecting a crest and yellow spandex. :(

Because Rick Santorum isn't as funny as Rick Moranis.
And by China, you mean South Korea, right? Pig.
Discrimination of hobby?

The only video game stores I can think of here in Wichita are Gamestop, EBGames, and GameXchange, none of which are mom-and-pop.
