I just opened an e-mail message with the subject of "Good Times" and the contents of my hard drive got erased. I'd better go find that new virus that melts my CPU so I will have another thing to upgrade.
I think I'll sign up for an AOL account and make it forward all the e-mail received to that guy's account. I'm sure he'll love the 250+ "HOT XXX TEENS WAITING FOR YOU" messages a day.:D
My FlowPoint 144 DSL router does NAT and firewall already. And to that person who's having trouble with identd: enable access on port 113 and use fakeident (search for it on freshmeat).
Doh. I would have moderated your comment up (I got five points today, yay!) but I used them all up before I got to it. If someone else has points, up it, hehe.:D
OK, here's a quote from ABC News's article on the "hack": One even managed to evade the filtering software set up to screen out potentially sticky questions or inappropriate comments during the chat and using the president's name posted the comment, "Personally, I would like to see more porn on the Internet." I don't think "sticky questions" was a very good phrase to use when talking about good old Mr. shoot-it-on-her-dress.:P

This is rather funny, because not so long ago Microsoft posted a page which attempted to explain why they were still running Solaris on the Hotmail machines instead of NT. Afraid of their own product, it seems.:)
DirecPC is a waste of money. Not only do you need to buy the satellite, you also need to pay the monthly fees for TWO ISPs: DirecPC, and the ISP you're using for sending data. (The satellite only receives data.)
God, I sure hope they don't show Cowboy Bebop. It's a great series, but they'd kill it with all the censoring.:(
There's nothing to censor in Ruroni Kenshin--not in the TV series, anyway. If the OVAs were to be shown on TV, they would probably be about half as long.:>
I have only seen parts of Magic Knight Rayearth, so I don't have any comments to make.
I'm not against anime on TV, I'm just against the censoring of it. (I'm against dubs, too, but if some people don't want to read subtitles, then so be it. That's their preference.)
I have always found video games to be excellent ways to relieve stress, especially FPS games. It just feels good to blow your troubles up, virtually.;) Seriously, though, Grossman needs to cut the crap. I never went around stomping on people's heads because I played Mario. I never learned how to aim a gun and fire it by pressing Page Down, Delete, and ctrl. I find it especially hypocritical that Grossman flaps his trap about violence when he happens to be working in the army. The guy needs to stop.
Don't even get me started on Senator Lieberman. What kind of idiot tries to ban minors from playing M-rated games in arcades?
Give me a break! It isn't the guys at Napster who are doing the pirating, it's some of the people who are doing the pirating. I suppose you could sue Napster for helping people to pirate music, but I doubt it would win.
I've been using napster since it was in alpha (I remember when there were only about ten people on it) and I hope it stays around.
Hm...Maybe ZDTV won't suck as much anymore. I'm sure you've all heard my thoughts on ZD's "thoughtful and objective reporting." Reasons for my hatred of Ziff-Davis:
1. Ever noticed how advertised games in EGM ever get the highest reviews?
2. John C. Dvorak is a complete idiot. Since when was Linux "not appropriate as an important server"? Gee, it only runs 15% of the Web, it's gotta suck pretty hard.
Ziff-Davis is the most biased source for news/reviews/whatever anywhere. Examples:
Games advertised in EGM get the best reviews every time. Same thing with their other magazines, advertised stuff gets great reviews, guaranteed.
The recent Linux vs. NT security "test." Installing a bloated service pack was OK, but they didn't install 21 RPMs that all together were less than the service pack wasn't done because it was "no enterprise would want to install all that." I wonder how much Microsoft paid them for THAT one.:D
It's nice to see that someone stood up to fool MTV and show that you really can't believe what the media says anymore.
Wouldn't it have been interesting if MTV had actually done their homework and had a good special on hacking? (Let's not hope that someone from MTV notices this comment and tries to make another show).;)

Someone sounds bitter. ;)

Good old online anime site EX Magazine has done an editorial on Princess Mononoke-and they love it. Check it out here. =D

For truthful reporting, don't buy Ziff-Davis.

Bah, I always knew those guys on MTV never had the 31337 LAN kickbanning sk1llZ that I had. :P
Real quote from the show: "I'm gonna kickban your LAN because I can."

Well, I watched it, and it was probably the most pathetic [funny] thing I've ever seen in my life. :) Here's a quote from the uber-31337 h4x0r Mantis:

You mean NT DOES belong on a computer? That's news to me.
