Today I am only able to purchase a Dual 2.0 Ghz machine with plain ol' PCI and a maximum of 4GB of RAM for $1999. Hey I get dual layer burning for all the burning I have never done on my superdrive in the past 2 years. Yipee.

Apple makes great machines. I made the switch mid-quarter while in UCSD's computer science program. I like them. They work. I would just expect the current models would not back step to technology that is already surpassed.

I agree with you on #1. I am not sure about your #2. Yet, I must disagree with you regarding #3.

Small claims court is the perfect place to begin holding Blizzard to their own agreement. I imagine that the user winning the case would set precedence for other such cases.

There are plenty of books available like How to Win in Small Claims Court in California ISBN: 1572481943.

A distributed attack from multiple states would get Blizzard moving towards coding a solution.

It is not about the difference in VAT. There are customs duties that raise the price; however, Apple's pricing scheme reflects their attempt to buffer against currency fluctuation.

While the Euro has been worth more for the last two years, there is nothing guaranteeing that exchange rate will continue. Apple is hedging its bets. This is why the difference is higher for the Euro than Dollar. Same goes for the Brits.
