    This might not be entirely the same thing, but South Korea's online magazine http://www.ohmynews.com/ lets readers pay any small amount to the author if they liked the article. Though it doesn't seem to be mentioned on the English Wiki page.

    I was disappointed when I couldn't use VLC to write my english essay and now for some reason I keep getting errors with the IRC client.

    They need to get their damn priorities straight.

    I used to have the same problem but I noticed that the skins2 interface uses a different kind of slider control.
    Just change the default interface to skins2 and pick a nice skin. That way you can click anywhere on the slider.

    Still wish you could do that with the current default interface though.

    People that rent less movies tend to receive the movies they want earlier. Everybody still pays the same amount of money each month.

    I highly doubt that comes remotely close to an actual representation of sex for 99% of the population.

    - Sounds to me like someone is missing out, because that's what it is like for the rest of us.

    I'm running the daemon right now and I have 54 known nodes. Searching works fine, however I can't download a single .torrent file.
    Firewall/router etc. are configured the right way as far as I can tell.
    The [View] link tells me a bit more about the .torrent, but I still can't get any .torrents.

    Can anyone help?

    This happened to a friend of mine:

    At a LAN party he accidentially spilled a coke can over his keyboard.
    Luckily he had a second one to replace it. So he placed the new one where the old one was and simply turned around the broken keyboard above the new one without thinking.
    He sucessfully spilled coke on two keyboards :)

    eXeem uses libtorrent as the basis for the file downloads itself, which is a library to ease implementation of BitTorrent systems.
    However the tracker behaviour has been changed. It pretty much is a modified closed-source BitTorrent client now.

    the official version of eXeem comes chock full of spy/adware -- specifically, cydoor.

    Check your sources.
    eXeem does not come with a bunch of spy/adware. It comes with exactly one: Cydoor. Which is adware, only displaying ads.
