    At some point you have to realise that you have to be ready to use deadly force or stop enforcing the rules.

    Actually they have exactly the same rights, but the Chinese government don't respect them.

    Remember rights are not granted to you by the state, and they cannot be taken away.

    Hitler never wanted a war with England or France. He wanted land, of which there was plenty to the east, and so attacking the Soviet Union was the original plan all along. He spent much of the 30'ies convincing the British to leave him alone or join him. He wanted the British to sue for peace alright, and knew that dead soldiers on a beach would destroy any chance he had of helping them.

    As to why Brittan wanted to fight for Poland, beats me. It cost them the British Empire and it wasn't as if their political ideas where _that_ different.

    That is ridiculous - a dollar a season wouldn't even pay for the bandwidth. You are more likely going to pay a dollar for each episode, which is actually a pretty fair price.

    To prevent the problem with many masters, you could hash all the encrypted volume keys and then when you needed to look up a key you would ask for the key corresponding to such and such hash.

    I agree - execpt it is often fear of boredom as opposed to boredom itself. This is evident in that I dont feel bore when I do "idiot" task - my mind just concentrate on other things.

    What constitute not being able to "write a proper thesis statement"?

    I just spend 3 months making a report for my university (yes i am a student - Aalborg University does things a litle different than most others) and I can guarantee you that there where many gramatical and spelling mistakes. Does this mean I am unable to write a report (I doubt any of these mistakes would prevent anyone from understanding the report)

    Hmm I agree with your professor - but, and that is a big but - for people other than math majors, the number is the most important thing.

    I knew thought I should write this, but people need to be better to do math in their heads. An example would be the 6 question of this test from moronland that fooled me earlier this day http://moronland.net/moronia/moron/1077/

    Until such time you burn it. The problem with the gulf syndrom is that you inhale U-238 dust. An alpha emitter would kill you in enough of the stuff is inhalede (or digested).

    As a member of the flat earth society, I would be content with a saying, that it has not been proven that the earth is round - with no reference to to a flat earth...most of us just have a problem with it being taught as a fact instead of a theory.

    Thing is - she agreed properly because she knew she had a problem and should spend more time with her children. My guess at the situation is that they asked hear to stop using the blackberry and she said "You know what - I will not use the BlackBerry from dinner till I have put you to bed".

    The problem is that she needs to grow a spine - either cancel the rule with her children or tell her boss that she will not check her email after work.

    That is true - but if I was that paranoid, I would use another box as the firewall. And I would properly have it dump all the trafic to the harddisk for later analys.
