    lcd problems often deal with a defect in the glass/crystal because of that its not simply an issue of putting more wires, only 1 pixel unit at 1 depth, if they put another behind the one in front would obstruct it... otherwise we would have very common multilayer LCD screens

    Yes, but how long until the version of OSX that can be cracked appears?

    What will this mean for the PearPC project, and how long until they incorporate the manual cracks that are applied to get OSX on an intel? I can't wait.

    I think the way that paypal expects sites to use their automated pages is to redirect the whole window, because at the end of the process paypal usually sends you back to a page on the original site, usually a thankyou/confirmation page. When people use the frames, they are probably doing it against paypal's directions, because otherwise, why would paypal redirect back to the original site?...

    ever since the article appeared out of the near future, (5-10mins) I've been trying to get it to work, turns out that the tabbrowser extension prevents the exploit from occurring because it rewrites the target attribute

    Heya, thanks alot!! I checked it again and it works once again... :) I remember having outlook express post an error message "Account not accessible because free e-mail accounts have had remote checking disabled" (completely paraphrased), but apparently they changed their mind... and they must never have gotten around to even temporarily disabling your account :P

    Lucky me!

    wait are these free accounts? and if so how long have you had them... I know they didn't specifically disable the interface for accounts, but they made it such that new clients couldn't connect meaning for awhile I could connect on one computer but not the other... I should check to see if they reenabled that stuff.

    Did you consider the fact that she might have one phone for family and close friends, and one phone for creeps/geeks/hot guys she might want to talk to but wants to be able to hide from occasionally?

    Also your suggestion implies she was sending the same message on both, but that's not a given, in fact she was probably reading 2 different messages and replying to them individually, using the two phones to increase her personal typing bandwidth, by scheduling the keypresses to happen simultaneously on two "processors" :P lol.

    I wonder what you're referring to, because Hotmail disabled Outlook Express connections a little while ago (3,4 months)... pseudo-permanently, unless you pay to have their premium account... I was dissappointed, and on one of my computers, one of my hotmail accounts kept working for a month, but that ended when I chose to reformat that computer, and since then I'v ehad to check my hotmail accounts from the website...

    wtf deliberately broke the tor network? How exactly did Slashdot Deliberately do this? From what I understand, when articles posted on Slashdot are not blatent advertising grabs, they are posted because some people believe that they might be of interest to a larger community. As much as we joke about the slashdot effect, its because people are curious and interested that they visit... otherwise people would never read articles on slashdot they'd just flame each other about things they read into the title of the article while saying "While I have not RTFA..."

    Please clarify what you mean by saying slashdot broke the Tor network.

    I was thinking about this the other day and I would postulate that slashdot has reached critical nerd acquisition mass, where the rate at which slashdot acquires new readers/moderators is high enough that new members haven't spent enough time on the site to be bored with the same jokes...

    Of course your ID number has 4 digits so you think they're really unfunny now but these newbies probably have only seen 4 identical posts as of yet.

    I've seen it happen with one of the Smirnoff "chick" vodka beers. This girl opened one, took a sip, and then held it for a few minutes while watching the tv, the carbonation escaped and the base of the bottle started getting foggy, as it froze from the bottom of the bottle all the way up to the top.
