MS giving up his shot at CEO means the start of the demise of the company. Before MS was the place you wanted to go work for. Right now it is not. I paraphrase Steve Jobs, when Apple went down the gutter it had a salesman at its helm, if you look at MS right now, look at who is its CEO, a salesman.
What you are describing is a partnership agreement similar to that of law firms and accounting firms. And we all know how well Arthur Andersen is doing now.
The irony is that Bell only was successful because he filed the patent first and litigated its patent monopoly successfully. Most people only remember the inventing part.
Nintendo is based in Redmond too, so would that mean, when the new revolution comes out it would burst into flames. Yes, I know that most of the hardware is developed in Japan.
Some people for some unknown reason call the big box that houses the computer a modem. I suppose it could be called a modem as it does modulation and demodulation.
IBM however is not in the same business they were 20 years ago. They are more a services orientated company rather than a computer manufacturing company.
I also had a Geforce 4200 fan die on me and decided to get a fanless Zalman cooler rather than a new fan or a new card. Also for some benchmarks the 4200 will out perform the 5200. For an HTPC i'd rather have quiet than fast, but that's just me.

I think they did the egg in the radiator one. One reason they don't do a McGyver show is because the folks that own McGyver show, either did not give permission to use their footage.
I don't pay for ring tones, but I know why people would. People like to customize things even if it doesn't really make any sense. That's why people put type R stickers and vtec stickers, which cost a lot more than 2.50 us.
If you want to make a ringtone, you have to download the MP3, then down convert to whatever format the phone uses, then truncate and then make sure that the sound comes out sounding okay by tweaking the voices, then you have to somehow transfer the song to the phone by either setting up infrared, usb bluetooth or some other tech, or you can pay 2.50 to have someone do it for you. Most people are not going to have tens of ringtones they are going to buy as most people use one ring tone on a regular basis. Although 2.50 may seem like a lot compared to iTunes, the fact that you don't need to know anything about how a cell phone works or computers for that matter to do it, some people may pay for that convenience. But 2.49 seems a little too high. Maybe 2.49 a month is more reasonable. But when are cell companies any reasonable.
Sure they do, marketers sell gold plated Scrabble pieces, Simpsons Clue, Upgraded Monopoly, Star Wars monopoly, my travel Scrabble is not backwards compatible with the regular scrabble and so on. They also make new versions of Monopoly, anyone remember Free Parking? I think this is the reason I think Nintendo does so well in franchise making and to another extent Sega was, as they were a game company first and electronics company second. They know how to exploit a franchise for better or worse. I agree that buying a DS just to play old SNES games may for a lot of people may not be the best use of their funds, but I look at it this way, the PSP costs so much more. The DS is a bargain at 150. I remember when I was a kid I saved enough money to buy a gameboy and that cost like 90 dollars back in 1989. So if you take into account inflation, kids today have it a lot better, back then it was black and green graphics on a little screen, today you have twice and many screens for only 50% more.
People like to put these into tiny cases so they can use it in their living room. Certain cases like shuttles and what not only have 2 sometimes 1 available PCI slot so if you want to use the other slots for other uses then an all in one is handy. If you are a systems builder, getting an all in one is handy too as it keeps down the number of inventory you have to keep. If you like having a lot of tuners so you can record 6 channels at once, and your computer has 5 pci slots, then you can use the all in one to record 6th channel. Also people have lots of money so when they upgrade, they upgrade to another all in one.
I myself would prefer the seperate solution but for some people, they like the integration.
I would get a DLP or LCD projection TV as that has 1280 x 720 resolution native. Most Plasmas in the affordable range do 852x400. Look for a TV with HDMI input. CRTs are the best, but to get sizes in the 40in plus range would be more expensive than getting a projection equivalent.
We play games from the 1800s but that doesn't make it any less fun. Millions of people enjoy Scrabble, Chess, Checkers, Texas Hold'em, Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit 80s edition. It's like when Chess goes online, is it revolutionary, in someways it is. Before if you lived in a small town, or have friends who are either not great chess players, there really isn't a way to get chess action. With the internet now you can, you can play players similar to your level of experience and skill. So chess players can now gain skill and experience that normal players could. Is it pretty much the same game, yes, and that's what's so great about it, it is like taking a classic and giving it a new life.

Hong Kong is not in Korea or in Taiwan. Unless you count Hong Kong as being part of China.
I think the ngage had a 3d chip whereas the Gameboy advance did not and the Ngage did not use Java.
I think you should have your humor chip checked. I was making a joke.

Considering that Linux was invented in 1991, I would say that person is either a liar or a time traveler. I wouldn't hire either.
I would be worried if a Linux administration person said that he had 20 years linux experience.
I have a first generation DS, it's working just find thank you very much.
It's from the original Clerks movie.

I guess you didn't see the episode dedicated to Pop Rocks.

That's ridiculous, the Ford would be recalled ten times and the Taliban would win in their Toyotas.
Because people in the South forget that they lost a war way back when, and once in a while you have to remind them that they were the losers.
Why not wait for the Phantom? Oh wait....
