I completely agree. Mutant League Football (and Hockey) were awesome. Most people I've showed them to over the years loved them, even if they hated normal sports games.
EA should remake it. I bet it would sell more copies than Madden has for the last 5 years.
Surely money-grabbing corporatist leaders are more fit than poor people who spend all the energy they use on staying alive... But in the long term, they are poisoning the planet to the extent that it basically can't harbor them anymore.
And they will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes.
Except I think the Blue Tango sucks, by comparison.
The Airport Express is 802.11g, so it has range much longer than 12 feet, you can use it to wirelessly network your printer as well as your stereo, and is cheaper.
Anyone who said Iraq had WMDs is a filty no-good lier. But strangely, "Anyone" seems to exclude Democats.

The article in question does not mention Total Addressable Market, it's about Install Base, which is all the computers currently in use, as opposed to Market Share, which is a percentage of all computers purchased.
"Homework is given by teachers who don't know how to teach."
And I must say, I've always agreed with it. The teachers I've had in my life that I learned the most from gave no or very little homework. Most only gave reading assignments, which is appropriate because there's no time to "Read Chapters 1 and 2 " during class. Homework on the whole is repetitious busywork, and has very little to do with learning. I've found that generally the students who diligently do homework are the ones who don't retain any of that knowledge once the class is over. Teachers need to understand that "working" is not the same as "learning".
"Jim Allchin, Microsoft's group vice president for platforms, looked at my Apple PowerBook and smugly pointed out that the number of copies of Windows sold this year will be more than all the Macintosh computers used worldwide."
Luckily for Microsoft, Jim's Magic 8-Ball is never wrong.
Logically, if they had wanted to keep the market, they should have maintained the ][ series rather than launching an incompatible computer. There's no real reason why we couldn't have 3Ghz 32-bit descendants of the 6502 today.
Oh yes there is. Remember, this was 1984, the concept of the personal computer was still relatively new. Something brand-new, ignoring compatibility with existing software, this was happening every few years until that point. For Apple to extend the Apple ][ line would have been mere evolution, not revolution as was the Macintosh. It's possible this hypothetical computer based on the Apple ][ could have taken off, but it would have never became the Mac we know today. There would be no OS X. Why would they bother make such a huge switch? Sure, it might be better, but customers may not want to make that kind of transition. The point is, Apple would have learned to play it safe, not break new ground. And even if they got 90% share of the market, I don't think it would have been worth it.
Just a heads up for Creative... most iPod owners don't & won't care what other stores your player supports. You know why? A large majority of iPod owners use a Mac! (big surprise) The "other" online music stores have no Mac version! This is the same as Real having the gall to accuse Apple of not giving iPod owners choice, when Rhapsody doesn't work on a Mac user's OS of choice.
I agree. Rhapsody music store has no Mac version, and Rob Glaser said there isn't going to be. Where does Real get off criticizing Apple for not giving iPod users "choice"? I can't even download Real's songs using my OS of choice. (not to mention the OS of most iPod owners) Thanks but no thanks, Real.

Airport express does only play iTunes, unless you use Airfoil. With that you can send any audio you want.

That was 26 months ago.
But for the love of god why x86? Why not switch to ARM processors, or let Intel build PPCs?

Considering most Mac hardware works out of the box with no drivers, and most software installs little more than just the application?
He said this 26 months ago!
Just like when he insisted Apple would switch to Intel Processors
Luckily for Microsoft, Jim's Magic 8-Ball is never wrong.
"Within 12-18 months" I believe was his exact words, in March '03. Don't listen to this moron.
You drink beer in your office? Where can I apply?
Seriously, this is the same guy that insisted Apple was going to switch to Intel processors.

This is Slashdot, so don't hold your breath for that URL. Posting it here woud be suicide.Just a heads up for Creative... most iPod owners don't & won't care what other stores your player supports. This is great, unless you YOURSELF want to connect from the outside, like from your backyard.
How can they say this brillant plan didn't work? Here's what I did:
Bought broken iPod from friend - $5
Buy Dell's Digital Jukebox - $200
Send in iPod, recieve rebate + $100
Sold Jukebox on Ebay + $175
Final Count = $70 Profit! Thank you Dell!
Is this guy on the Real Networks payroll?
Aren't these the same guys that predicted the iPod was a PDA?
That is, I was impressed when I read the article about it almost a year ago, before battery packs were availible for sale commercially.
