    what should happen is E-Waste companies should have to Document and Prove exactly where the stuff goes (and what happens to it). Fines should be based on amount processed in the past say 2 years (say 50K per ton).

    the big porblem with "private" postings is very very simple

    1 Facebook has an office setup to deal with LEO requests and all it would take is a short convo for FB to start setting aside data from an account

    2 https://www.facebook.com/safet... ----- as long as there is a Court Order exactly NOTHING is kept from a LEO request [ panic delete your account hope you do it BEFORE a LEO has submitted a data request]

    3 and that is the WRITTEN policy whatcha wanna bet that this is not the effective policy at all times??

    even back in the BBS days sites had hidden areas ---- this is not news

    exactly what can be found in those hidden areas oh gee a subject that is now "legal" may have pre-legal stuff stashed somewhere on the same site. ---- not news either

    notice the article had the narrative required swipe at TOR (btw news folks TOR is a network not a Browser)

    The other note is they lump all categories of CP into one bundle which needs to stop if we are to have a decent dialog on this.

    AGE , type and treatment of the subjects does make a difference (okay so its a difference on how quickly and painlessly these folks need to die but...)

    my issue with any kind of State Level Blocking is how is the list edited (and by whom??).

    Sure you might want to block

    CP
    Hate Sites
    AP (for those that are not Adult)
    "Snuff" sites
    Otherwise Criminal Sites
    ect

    but im sure the SlashMind could come up with some edge cases where something might LOOK LIKE a "blacklist" worthy site but isn't.

    and thats not getting into the "Oops we blocked %otherparties% site at a critical time" type issue or the Admin being bribed to include/exclude a given site ie the op for
    wwwdotpoupéesprÃtespourleplaisirdotfr wanting to not be blocked bribing some admin with say "product" (because you know what kind of person lands up doing the admin on this kind of thing)

    Drop Ceilings or Plaster??

    best trick if you have drop ceilings is to do your runs in the ceiling and do drops as needed.

    if you don't have drop ceilings a decent contractor would need to chat with your landlord

    2 provide free uncapped wifi to all clients/guests (give them the credentials when they check in)

    the biggest problems i have are

    1 pages that are 95% ads and sidebars and 5% content

    2 multiple videos on a page (hint if i go to a page to see a video I DO NOT WANT SOME OTHER RANDOM VIDEO PLAYING ON THAT PAGE ALSO)

    3 ads that look like system dialogs

    4 ads that have exe payloads (drive by malware)

    5 ad networks that will not filter ads for content (hints here i have exactly ZERO desire to see half naked people , i do not have either a house or car and im offended by most pc utility ads)

    the big problem is if we allow some sort of Master BackDoor that in effect has a sign on it that says LEO ACCESS ONLY then within 30 days the Entire "Dark Web" will also have access to the MBD.

    can you think of the "fun" somebody can have with full ROOT access to your phone??

    its also hard to get a train GOING.

    Im sure the actual patch writing time was minimal but

    15 different managers had to be consulted/bribed to sign off on the code
    there were 50 different meetings to sort out what the bugs were exactly
    somebody had to be assigned the task of writing the code (and this was a busy person)
    the code had to be audited for serious bugs like nonPC variables
    then it had to be tested
    and packaged for deployment

    do i need to go on??

    maybe lights on either side of the Third Brake light?? (flash yellow for automode flash red for driver "offline" call EMS)
