Somehow the portions in this world seem to be rising, and the activity seems to be decreasing. It doesn't make sense, and I'm just stating there is a balance that can be reached, but much of society is ignoring it.
It doesn't make sense for everyone to eat the same amount of food when they have different genetic factors and participate in varying activities. I'm not advocating everyone stop eating. I'm advocating that everyone eat the amount that provides the right balance for them.
I think Billie is still pretty, but I'd prefer her to lose a little weight. That's me, though. Everyone is not going to have the exact same ideal of what a woman should be.

To answer your question, I think the word 'fit' is fairly relative. To a body builder or fitness expert, most of us would not be fit. To me Billie Piper LOOKS unfit, but might not be. (I also like to go to the gym 4 times a week and eat decent quantities of food.) To someone else she could be completely fit. It's all relative. I had a mountain bike partner once that was a little overweight, and could beat the pants off of me every ride. I considered him fit.
I guess the moral of this story is that I shouldn't post that I like smaller framed women on Slashdot ever.:) Also the title of my first post was a bit mean-spirited. I still think she could lose a few pounds, though. Maybe it's because I remember her from the old days. (like 7 years ago.:) )
Yes, I definitely agree with this. This was the only thing I was looking for in the new browser. The real crappy thing is that by not supporting it in this new release, we get to wait another ten years before we can drop the old methods. Also, by doing a half-assed effort as the article suggests they'll do, we get the bugs and crap that us web developers hate with a passion, and will cause us headaches in the future. Oh how I hate Microsoft. They definitely tricked me into thinking they were developing the best browser, and they'd keep developing it, and then they just stopped innovating after they crushed Netscape. Bastards.

Honestly, I'm not sure males can fully understand the concept of rape. (It's like normal sex, but without the movie, dinner, and talking.) If you had a daughter, and were a millionare, would you rather her be raped, or lose a million dollars? I consider rape far worse than losing money.
Also, no one said it was going to be a female raping you. Would you be ok with being raped by a male rather than losing millions of dollars when you have plenty more money?

Or you could just create a new column, update the new column with the old columns values, drop the old column, and rename the new column to the old column.
Just so you guys know, I've tested the Yahoo Desktop Search, because of a post later on in the comments that mentioned that you could index by only filename/size. Yahoo Desktop Search is pretty customizable, and while not quite as simple as I'd like things, it's usable. It also does find as you type, which is cool. I've scheduled it to reindex at 4:30am everyday. So basically it does mostly what I mentioned I wanted in my parent post. (I'd just like to have a simpler interface similar to windows explorer search.)
I think the problem is related to the searches taking so long. If I could type in part of a filename and have the results come up as fast or faster than a page comes up on google then I think that'd be good enough. (Better yet, display the results for me as I type!) I've thought about writing a tool to do this, but haven't really had the time. (I'd also want to search around for one first too.)
I believe 'locate' on Linux does something similar to this, however I have not seen a perfect solution on Windows. (Haven't looked either.;) )
Dang this was a long post! I mean seriously, your post is longer than the amount of code it takes to write a p2p program.;) Next time put some separators in so I can read the posts easier, or post them in Perl/Python using some libraries.;)

Perhaps the RAM issue is just a dynamicly sized cache that FireFox uses? Perhaps the more RAM you have, the more cache it will use?
