Of course, there's always multimedia playback, right? The install I liked best so far, Unbuntu, couldn't play anything out of the box. I know it should have been able to, but for whatever reason my install was futzed no matter how many times I reinstalled it. I never could figure out how to make it play videos.
Ubuntu is 100% FOSS... it doesn't ship with win32 codecs and so won't play much out of the box.

Microsoft has changed the world. At this point, the fact that they have such a large percentage of the market is a good thing. It has also guaranteed that English will be the language of the world for many generations to come.

That may be true, but it seems like the original file for the torrent was bad. I just downloaded and got an invalid ISO message, and I'm not the only one!

I think music and movies born out of passion and love of making beautiful art are much more appealing than those made for profit.
Surely Scotland would be the most logical place.
