To my dismay, when I right click on a toolbar, expecting to see a menu pop up letting me choose which toolbars to use, it does nothing. At least add back the old right click menu.
But when I go to google.co.uk, it doesn't redirect me to google.com BTW, going to the UK site is useful because netnanny blocks images.google.com, not images.google.co.uk or any other national ones.
I'm pretty sure the Bible isn't totally specific about life on other planets. But yeah, it does seem to strongly suggest there isn't. Also, micro-organisms and beings like humans are two different things. Personally, I don't really see what purpose projects like SETI have. If we get broadcasts, how would we understand them? And if we did understand them, what could we do about it? Distances are too long.
"But could anyone really guess, in advance, how their lives might be affected by instant creativity, instant intelligence, instant happiness? Or by their disappearance, just as instantly, once the TMS is switched off? "
Instant happiness? How could this bring instant happineess?
I don't know if I can see stereoviews, as my eyes at least were misaligned for more than 16 years. I got some surgery to make them straighter, don't know if it worked. Must have a bit.
People like things working out of the box. The biggest incentive for people to download new media players is when it's required to view certain things, which can be quite a bit.
Read the article. It's not just MP3s, although the article mentions not being able to copy cds to mp3 players. Later in the article, it says "The amendment, which requires parliament's approval, would make it illegal to crack security codes on DVD and CDs or to provide software or hardware for doing so, a news release said." Like the DMCA.
He's smart, but doesn't do as well on standardized tests. BTW, what does saying I got a 29 on the ACT make you think? I don't really put too much pressure on myself about those tests. I hear some people study for the ACT and the like. I don't see how you could. Or at least how I could. But maybe the people who do well on the standardized tests are smart and just don't take them as seriously?
People say it was me. I remember it being someone else. Well, anyway, it was an old windows 3.1 gateway computer back in middle school. It was really fun, we played gorilla (the qbasic game) and epic pinball. While we were playing epic pinball, someone pressed shift, and the monitor just started smoking. I can't remember if the image went off right way or not. Kind of weird though, and sucky, since we didn't have a computer in there anymore. Not that catastrophic I suppose.
If you define majority as the group of people who have the most power (I think that's stupid, but apparently a lot of stuff follows this definition), then the big corporations sure wouldn't be minorities.
RC Cola? That's server no where around here. Just Dr. Pepper. I've always loved Dr. Pepper, but I think now I might like Pibb Xtra even better. But you can't buy that here, only in restaurants like Fizolli's and Stake 'N Shake.
I remember the Nintendo 64. Nintendo sold all their games for $60 a game. They've actually gone down this generation because others are charging no more than $50

It would get broken very easily. And you'd have a hard time picking it up. And my brain doesn't like thinking about 2D objects in a 3D world.
Props to 68.39.226.175 :-)
Even with horrible controls, it would be fun playing Mario or Punchout on a portable music player.
Sound like a good idea. To do to sharepro (the author of the article) that is. Not sure who you mean.

Yeah. Also, it's just convenient to go there, and copy/paste your ip where you need it. NATed or unNATed.

I hate "showing my work" also. For a lot of that though, I do steps in my head, but I don't feel like writing them down.

Buffer overflows were/are still all over the xbox also.
Wow, thanks. Not.

If he abused his authority, he should be fired.
What about hitting it with my windows xp lynx?

I used kmeleon on my windows 95 computer. It was a 75 mhz with 40 MB of ram, so it still took a long time to browse.
