How very Microsoftian of Apple. Sucess in the computer industry seems to cause suicidally stupid business decisions. Vista, Gateway Country Stores, Apple getting silly over logo, etc.
RIAA v. Walmart?
Can't they BOTH LOSE somehow, both of them have business models that represent screwing over the producers and eventually the consumers.
That targets the top 5, 10 etc botnet issues so they can be addressed specifically without having to do broad spectrum AV searches (That fail depending on product)
What the Taliban wants rates below what I think of whatever Michael Moore and Rush Limbaugh want, but add in my total disdain and desire to see every member of the Taliban drink a warm coca-cola full of ground glass.
Libertarian here, but realizing the importance of this election: McCain v Clinton = McCain McCain v Obama = Obama Anyone V Huckabee or Romney = Anyone
Simple fact is that this country cannot stand another religious nut in office, nor anyone who makes policy decisions based on mythology or other purely personal guidelines. Clinton, Huckabee, and Romney have all shown a clear tendency to tell we the people how to live, rather than doing what WE tell them to.
Anyone smart enough to use Firefox should also be smart enough not to use Quicktime. Quicktime is an excellent example of poorly written software, if it were not for complete trash like WMP no one would use it.
Everyone sane uses VLC anyways.
Mark Cuban, Dallas Mavericks owner, HDNet CEO
Okay, do not support his team, do not support his firms, do not give him a single dollar of your money. This child also claims to be libertarian (he is NOT). Amazing to me how many poor and ignorant people equate acquistion of wealth with intelligence.
Outside of gaming, 90% of my needed functions can be performed within a web browser, add this app and I can drop windows AND 'nix. Sounds like a good plan for Google.
if you use Comcast DNS servers, you are also randomly being blocked from visiting www.google.com and the block is due to a reset command being sent from Comcast. Using a DNS server not managed by monkeys like opendns.com allows you back on Google.
This has been occuring to people since Comcast started playing with BT traffic. Try a search of http://www.google.com/search?q=connection+reset+google+comcast&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a/ to see some people talking about it. Since they have the capability to block sites this way also, why is the RIAA not suing them for failing to block Pirate Bay?
It is amazing, at a certain point the comglomerates will pass around dollars via lawsuits. The winners each year will post larger revenues and their shareholders will cheer, the losers will point to it being inevitable and the shareholders will be appeased, then one legal cycle away the plantiffs and defendents will change tables.
It is like Web-boom Accounting Practices, or Enron Math!
1. Do anything 2. Be sued 3. Lose money, adjust taxes 4. Sue 5. Profit
While I was not directly affected by this, no man is an island. So if I ever meet this individual, I will gladly beat the silly little prick to death. Don't think you have to call 911, I will not care to waste my time hunting him down. But some day he is going to be interviewing with someone not "ultra right wing" and they will feel as I do. He has lost his right to privacy IMHO, and he also broke the same kind of social contract that anyone guilty of assault breaks. Since he has decided that he is above common courtesy I think do onto others applies.
Of course his only supporters are obvious fools and christians.
You must be kidding, our government since before Clinton wastes its resources handling trifling issues and ignoring the terrorist threats as much as possible.
They basically did not entirely madate it, but they did not outlaw neutrality either. The article is slanted, and inaccurate. While I wish they had in fact mandated for neutrality, they took a middle of the road step, but that is NOT the article headline.
Saying the republicans broke the net with this is like saying that Bush is a great president, both are wrong, and both have millions of idiots who believe it.
People post anonymously when they are afraid of being wrong, just like you have. But now they have in fact changed it, so I understand why you were wrong and cowardly.
Not out of Beta according to news.google.com it still shows beta in the graphic, it seems like the announcement and changing http://news.google.com/images/news.gif could have been coordinated.
I appreciate the thought, but it was not that challenging to start with, and I have no sympathy for anyone who did not understand the "X more" concept. I like the change but please do not make changes based on the 10% who cannot function without a map and a plan.

For Anonymous to target the personal information of the CEO's, CIO's and other staff of the ISP's involved.

You are trying to use the ends to justify the means, anyone that supports the loss of freedom is a fool.

"See this [nineplanets.org] for more."
I bet right now they are sitting around saying, "Now who exactly was it that picked this lousy domain name?"

Glad to see that when practicing ignorance our government can be nonpartisan
A republican and a democrat together for the greater good of the RIAA and their parent organization the Mafia. Vote Libertarian!
If you all read Tucows ( http://www.tucows.com/article/844 ) you would have seen this last MONTH.
For all their die hard fanboys no one ever noticed a "do no evil" line in Apple's corporate plan.
Did anyone RTFA?

I just wish they would stop all the silly little emo-kiddies from hotlinking.
"Don't you judge me Earl!" Yet another excuse for the fat, lame, lazy, stupid, apathetic, and underemployeed NASCAR fans.
