How many people (well average users) actually contribute to the OO even though it's free and open source? Yea sure its open source, so what. I dont care if MS Office is not open source it suits my needs. Oh and besides Office comes free from my school:-).
Yeah so SUSE 10 is wicked easy. Veryy user friendly. I am really happy. GUI is great let me tell you. It almost comes near Windows but not quite yet. It still doesn't like my wireless card and thats very important for me. Back to Windows:) and on my XP (constantly windows updated, virus updated and spyware updated hasn't crashed once:-) ).
Yea SUSE 10 is great. The gui is really nice. But it still is not my default boot. One problem is that it doesn't like my wireless card on my laptop and for me thats more than important.
I am a senior and my major is CS and this is my first internship actually (don't ask) anyway this summer I am doing an IT internship at Axcelis here in Beverly, MA. But even though I am a senior its never too late to have an internship. We have one guy, he's also an internt but he's married so I dont even consider myself a late bloomer if you will. Besides there will be something new to put on my resume. Other than that my internship is going great, the only thing I hope for is that I will get hired for a full time position because its pointless to look for a programming job.
I wanna say get like from pricewatch a very old 386 and put linux on it LOL umm and uh yeah that way if something falls on the computer the damage wouldn't be alot.

Yup same here. Now especially that I got firmware for my wireless card why would I ever need to use Windows. Suse works exactly the same now.
