I'm a relative newbie when it comes to media players and I kind of like just plugging my ipod in and letting it sync with itunes. Having said that the hacker in me knows I have an old ipod that I'm not really using at the moment.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of this software?
Not that I'm an expert but given that it is a quotation the sentence, while technically not correct, could very well accurately represent what Mr. Beckett said or wrote. Please post a link to the quote on a reputable site so we can figure out which version is correct.
It's funny I've had these conversations... and what it boils down to is, for what ever reason, users trust weatherbug and banziabuddy for some reason but whenever I try to recommended a real piece of free software they get flinchy.
Non-techies are in general scared of downloading programs from the internet.
In my experience if software is available in a package with a reasonable price tag people feel better about using it. It may be worth $20 to someone to not have to download and burn the software, the package may also contain information on how to find support.
Without having played the demo and without any specific insight into how you expect a camera to behave, I can say that I had little if any issues with the camera in the retail version of Ratchet and Clank. I didn't see any options for adjusting the camera while I was playing but I admit that I didn't really look that hard.
R&C is actually one of the better platformers I have played in years, I would recommend it to any PS3 owner but I wouldn't necessarily recommend that someone buy a PS3 with just this game as justification.
That is a genuinely good question, I don't know of any such partnership (I would guess that Slashdot would report it given what I have seen as far as Comcast coverage here) but it does seem like a plausible explanation. Money is defiantly at the heart of this issue if it is indeed intentional at all (I wouldn't put this past Comcast's ability to screw up).
My next questions would be: How bad is the disruption and how many users in what regions are affected?
So I take it any comment that doesn't boil down to "Comcast sucks!" will be met by you with contempt and little else. Could it be that the fact that not all Comcast customers seem to be effected could be important to this story? I think you are the one adding "noise" here.
this Wikipedia article seems to corroborate the parent's post and provides some more detailed information on the phenomenon, I found it an interesting read.
Will DHS raise the Astrophysical Phenomenon Terror (APPT) alert level to Orange?...But seriously I wonder if we as 3 dimensional beings would even notice such a change? Isn't "time" only subtlety different from a physical dimension?

Why did you post that anonymously? You clearly believe you speak for everyone. What do you have to loose?

When everyone in power is such a successful (not necessarily good) lair how can we even have a justice system?
Well played sir.
We need a site like this:

for Steve Jobs... you know just to be sure.
There needs to be a Lame mod.
Is that so it can be used on posts pointing out where moderation should be used or post asking for new types of moderation?
There are attackable Gungans in SWG... but it's hardly worth the suckyness of that game to kill them.
My friends and family are the same way but somehow I can't get them to use the good software that is available.
That may be sarcasm on your part, but yes this has been my experience.

Great. Another Winbasher that can't understand the point of a "discussion" board.Great. Another Winshill who can't understand that they are not the whole world.
I totally agree, having the Smithsonian Museums within driving distance is one of the best parts about living in the Northern VA / Maryland area.
It's worth noting that the charge for parking at the Dulles Air and Space annex.
That is a rather loose definition of "works" from my experience.
We tried Xen as a possible alternative to VMware and it isn't even close.

How many is that in Libraries of Congress sold at retail in paperback? (LoCSRiP has a nice ring to it I think...)
I guess I'm being a bit harsh... GTA4 and MGS4 are the two big ones I am looking forward to and the continual delays are getting tiresome.
I will admit that Ratchet and Clank looks good... I may pick it up this week or at least grab the demo.
and I will happily buy them. I know that the games I want to play are coming to the PS3... but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
