That's fine by me. Tried it, didn't like it after a while, quit. I don't want to change them, I'll just find a new game to play.
I love the concept of EVE but in practice it's easy to be overwhelmed by the shear size and depth of the sandbox and the seemingly titanic time investment required for any kind of fulfilling game play.
I don't want to change myself to play the game and I wouldn't change the game to suit my needs.
Only in my experience EVE is a massive world where it is damn hard to find and play with anyone on any kind of casual level.
maybe if they fix that I'll give it another try.
The contemporary use of the term is alleged to have first appeared on the internet in the late 1980s,[3] but the earliest known example is from 1991.[4] It is thought to be a truncation of the phrase trolling for suckers, itself derived from the fishing technique of slowly dragging a bait through water, known as trolling. The word also evokes the trolls portrayed in Scandinavian folklore and children's tales as they are often creatures bent on mischief and wickedness. The verb "troll" originates from Old French "troller", a hunting term. The noun "troll", however, is an unrelated Old Norse word for a giant.
The really smart part is that using the PLEX system they can edge out the ISK sellers making it less financially viable for them to restart there activites.
I don't believe in buying game money or items from RMTs but I have no problem putting money into the developers pockets for ISK especially since it provides value to other players as well.
forgive me but I don't remember the actual quote but it goes something like this:
"Some say that if the answer and the question where known at the same time that the univers would be destroyed and replaced with one far stranger. Some say this has already happened."
Yeah, poor little guy doesn't have any humans to crush now that he is self aware.
Conversely, Opportunity became self aware and just sees the logic in following NASA's commands... no one ever explores this possibility in sci-fi...
While it is true that people are buying more and more used cars (actually; the numbers on that don't quite work do they?) or are keeping there cars longer (this is more likely) I don't think this has anything to do with how much better used car salesmen are at there jobs than new car salesmen.
I drive a German car, I would buy American but not for any other reason than the quality of the product.
If the US auto industry wants my next car purchase they should produce compelling, well made and fuel efficient cars.
As a Virginian I have to agree totally with this and I live an hour from D.C.
I'm sure FF support is coming one way or the other.
I doubt our definition of life is anywhere near broad enough to ever be sure what is out there.
I love pointing this out to strict (read evangelical) creationists right after they quote the Pope on something else.
I see what you did there.

Possible but not useful, at least in the case of hold 'em games.
Other than SG-1 being a really fun take on Sci-Fi no not really. SGU is very newbie friendly.

On the plus side, if you can write good, stable Java code you can code in any language. Clearly because you have a brain the size of a planet.

It's too bad I don't have mod points, the parent actually made me laugh.
I'm sorry about this but I have to respond to your sig:
Sex is like pizza: even when it's bad it's still pizza.
Was that the most subtle pun today or a typo?
The world may never know.
unfortunately I have to agree that Dollhouse is doomed to cancellation. The sad part is the only thing likely to save it is the "sci-fi hooker" motif.
Why can't I just have more Firefly?(I know all the reasons but sometimes the world just isn't fair.)
And yet it doesn't say Technology on the site header.
What would be appropriate content for the entertainment department in your opinion? I'm honestly asking here, as a movie/tech/gaming nerd I'm curious.
I want very much to like EVE, but I never seem to be able to find the right crowd.
I'd be willing to start a whole new character if I ever re-uped again; any tips?
Hell yes!
I don't understand how they can say they can't do any better here when they produce vastly superior products in other markets.
I assume you are joking here.

Try tuning off A-A entirely that worked for me. The game actually doesn't look that bad without it.
The biggest problem with our current president is that he has become a negative symbol internationally.
We need to stare to rebuild our relationship with the world, the way our house of cards is falling we may need it.
I'd say that is a possibility... Iran puts up a brave face but they have many systemic problems that need to be addressed.
Being able to have a more amicable relationship with the U.S. could only be a good thing for Iran.
