Do the public, who ends up paying for all this later, get a chance to weigh such pros & cons ? There seems to be a rush of metros these days setting up such networks.
I would not mind the facility but still.... who controls it...big brother? abuse, intrusion...Not comfortable with it at all.
"conceptual" / in theory/, thats all. That label is ok only for marketing the company name. No guarantees that inidividuals are always better that ones from companies that are not certified. That being said, underkating such certification is a good effort, and very much advisable in "vendor/developer" neighbourhoods like china, india..etc, it will help in us vs next door guy pitch.
China can be the knowledge super power everyone else should worry about, more than India. The only thing that could hold them back is their own heavy fisted policies against spread of news/information etc, & that rises from paranoia (like all autocracies). What helps them is that they may be more disciplined than most other countries with potential, like India.

and after the impact, scientists are still unable to make sense of what goes on there.
true, I only speed read it. But I assumed mothership monitors for some info sent out by the impacter.
Wouldn't the impact destroy all instruments? or after making a dent, will they plan to send another carft to look at it :-)
Well, maybe they do not see people as fans. Them: Got power, can bully, will bully.
