    In theory it's a good idea and would benefit everybody, but like parent said, it probably won't happen for many reasons.

    An other reason :
    - There might be some trade secrets embedded in the products

    1% got pregnant, that seems pretty high for contraceptive. It would have to be used with other means

    I stand corrected, the pill is 92-99.7% effective, about 5% of couples will get pregnant. So it seems this way is pretty darn effective.

    The summary got it wrong, the base is base of the cube is 2 sq inches.

    The whole point of this technology is to have it pre-electrolyzed. Electrolysis needs energy to be performed (the energy from the sun in that case) so you can get this energy (well, part of it) back when there is no sun.

    The oxygen+hydrogen produced by the electrolysis would be the replacement for batteries.

    Maybe, but if it was the bottleneck, then the "new" bottleneck will be less restrictive than the memory was.

    Yeah, but if you are looking for a normal cell (not with the huge bandwidth and cost, which the parent was referring to), this could be a viable option if you can have it with a "normal" cell plan. You would get a normal cell combined an iPod touch for less. (Not to mention the smugness of it all.)

    Actually this could be a good alternative to the iPod Touch since the iPhone is much less expensive (100$ or 200$ ?) then the same size iPod touch.

    Well there is some interactions between them in Geometry Wars Galaxies.
    You can download a demo from the Wii. You can also link the DS and the Wii together to unlock things and share high scores, but i haven't tried it yet.

    1.8 milions a wii a month is a lot. It's 41 wii per minute, but still not enough for everyone.

    An other interesting number from TFA:

    Who got their movie first ? Power Rangers or Voltron ? Power Ranger got in 95 !

    But I must agree with you that Voltron was probably a better series than Power Ranger, but I never saw it so I can only say that by the suckyness of the Power Ranger series.
