Then again, who's to say the voice of one or a million people matters? Is it even a question that people can answer without it being opinion? Either way, I just felt like giving a constructive argument. Slashdot is about promoting discussion, not flamewars. Albeit, it seems that the latter is becoming rather common sometimes.
Ah. That would make it much easier to represent base 16 with one hand! Just ignore the use of a thumb and you've got it. I've been thinking about this for a while and an 8-bit/2-hex counting system would work very well with our fingers. Converting between hex and binary isn't a problem in the slightest. Just a bit of memory.
They also have a police box on every block. It's very difficult to try to do something like that when one knows that there is a cop near them. It's a little more difficult to set up something like that in America. For instance, in Houston, where I live, the average distance between major streets is roughly one to two miles. A police box on every block would do little good here. It's about culture and the way that cities develop more than it is society. I'm not saying that PC America doesn't leave a salty taste in my mouth; but, your argument is invalid.
Finally, someone else who realizes that space has very little matter! Don't you think the Human body would generate more heat than it could get rid of?
I for one, welcome our robotic gun-wielding overlords!
Robots with friggin' lasers!!!
There, you may all continue with your days knowing that this has already been done.:D
The first thing to come to my head when reading this article was Kate monster saying "The Internet is really really great..."./sigh I spend way too much time on here.
00011011 is 27. The one's digit is on, therefore the number is odd. You made this mistake and you call yourself a/.er? I hereby state that you must remake your account so that your ID number is raised!!!
It's referred to as "chlamydia" and, like gonorrhea, it can be cured. I had a friend that caught it from a slut that I happened to introduce him to... I feel kind of bad for that.
Can't you just purchase one? I don't think I'm willing to go through all of that for a mobius strip. What's it good for? Representing the concept of infinite? Showing that an object can theoretically exist with only one side? Bleh, useless I say!
There was a computer that covered the border of the monitor with advertisements. The computer was free for the user. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of it. The company went under pretty fast.:P
I was putting more focus on the idea of using GPU based physics. Nvidia was developing software to take hold of a graphics card last I checked. I'm not sure how far it's come though.
I'm pretty sure that they could have done so much more with this game by releasing it on PC and taking advantage of a physics card of some sort. Does anyone know how far they've come with GPU physics emulation?

I'm not entirely sure that this is a good way to think of things. Imagine how far we'd be if no one could understand how to count below zero.
I think 132 would become a popular item as well!

Thanks a lot man! This makes my day. :D Of course, I will be using this for solely legitimate purposes!!!
You must be new here. :D
I own an EZ Flash V along with the 3-in-1. I'm intrigued by this wardriving application. Any hints as to where to find it?
Too late, the PC was invented a while ago. ZING!
No! Too many will clog the tubes. We already have to flush them thrice a day, as-is.
I'm happy being "big". Thank you!
In Soviet Russia, steampunk joke writes you! I think I just died a little. : /
This has been said before; but, DON'T GIVE THEM IDEAS!
You're a troll; so, would you mind telling me: why are you not holding your "please don't feed the trolls" sign? Bad troll! Very bad troll!
I believe that manual labor is quite efficient! Where's monkey-boy Ballmer when you need him? That boy has plenty of spare energy!

Where does one legally acquire a third grader? I'll be waiting for your answer at the local police station.
