    ...and so facebook has my university email address. I don't use it for anything else besides facebook and school-related things, so I don't think they will be tracking me by my email address.

    And if Microsoft dared to include something even close to what Time Machine does, Norton (with their Ghost program) along with plenty of other backup software companies would instantly file an anti-monopoly lawsuit.

    Well I'd have to disagree with you on that. I really don't know much about anime, but when I think of anime and robots, I think of Gundam. Meanwhile, I've never even heard of "Macross" before.
    So as an external obsever, I'd say that Gundam is a pretty influential anime.

    I agree, I turned off all of my autoruns with TweakUI, and nothing has ever auto-ran since. Plus, the program has plenty of other awesome options that really should have been shipped with Windows.

    There's absolutely no reason that a modern "move" command shouldn't already be implementing the exact process you've just described, no matter where it is moving to.

    Now, a more intriguing question is - what will the next gaming console be when America converts over to 80 percent HDTV somewhere in 2009?

    It won't matter, as the FCC will delay it until 2012, when the Mayan Calendar ends, and then we won't be too worried about whose system we want to play.

    I've always heard that HOV lanes are for 2 or more licensed drivers.
    I mean, the point is to reduce congestion/pollution by limiting the number of cars on the road, and the benefit of the lane is the incentive to ride with somebody else instead of driving your own car by yourself.
    As unlicensed drivers (children, etc.) aren't going to be driving by themselves anyways, it wouldn't make sense to allow them to qualify you for the commuter lane.
