Yeah. I wonder why that is, though. Probably due to legal issues/taxes or something like that?
Anyway, it's November the 1st so S&M: Culture Shock is now available (or should be, anyway) from Telltale's website: http://www.telltalegames.com/store/samandmax
I'm in the industry
and although I have no experience with the PS3 whatsoever, I keep hearing from others that it's horrible to work with. (Although, they often admit, not as horrible as for the PS2).
Apparently, this time people actually use the libraries and things are slightly better documented. Take it with a pinch of salt; I simply heard it from someone else and the PS2 allowed from some pretty awesome games so I doubt that this really affects much. Possibly just the initial release games.
For anyone who doesn't know who Tim Schafer is, he's the guy (as in; one of the guys - guy) behind games like Grim Fandango, Psychonauts and Day of the Tentacle, and many other games. Tim Schafer's 'Gameography'
.
Anyway, why should we care about this deal? Well, first of all, it has a bit to do with the way the industry works. You've got Game Studios and you've got Game Studios, not a single studio is alike. Some studios focus on creativity, some focus on making money, some are just doing their job, some are just doing their job but it takes them forever.
I believe that Double Fine is one of those studios where creativity goes before (getting a deal that ends in lots of) money. So yeah, if they find a publisher that allows them to make awesome games, it's a good thing for me as a gamer because it hopefully results in an enjoyable game. In a way it's good news, or could be, anyway.
Hahahahah. So people are going to give up being able to recharge their cell phone batteries for free for the ultra-convienence of having to go to the store to buy new fuel cells for their phones everytime they lose power. Right.
People might just do that if the fuel cells have a lifespan of a year.
...of course, maybe they're not telling people how long the cells last because they suck. (the cells, not the people)
I'd love to see more of Death, but, have you ever thought about how his voice would sound in the real world? I don't think it'd quite work with real voices.
No, that was Gray Goo, which, in fact, was only referred to in the game's intro. The game's plot itself was meager and was more about the factions and/or JC & Paul.
That worked for me as well until I started playing Left 4 Dead. Now there are suddenly toilets everywhere. And pills.
Are you sure about that? I seem to remember downloading the Bioshock demo on the day it got released.
Ironically, that WikiArticle is a mess as well. Just guess why it has a list of games. Take a closer look :).
That'd be one hell of a submission to The Daily Wtf.
Look at it from the bright side, they (criminals) will no longer need to physically steal your passport.
I know a site with lots of great snippets to learn from!
Indeed! If only I still had my modpoints :/
Okay. It is off-topic. But come on, the funny outweighs the off-topicness, right?

Slashdotted? Presumably by an army of Firefox browsers.
I smell a conspiracy here!
Don't believe this guy, itsatrap!
Let me the first to welcome our new rat o...
No.. Let's not go there.
Not just child gamers. I've also seen adults do this.
It could prove to be a problem for immersive games (gamers?).

That's fine, as long as you buy the game when it becomes available to everyone else who doesn't like Gametap.
Or are you too poor to shell out that $7.50 - $10.00 (Whatever the price will be for this episode)?

So unlike Slashdot where that already happens on page 1 :)
\o/
Well, I hope that whoever manages to figure it out will tell us too.

Right.
Mr. Bush. Next time you post a comment, please log in.
What I wonder is, how much of this product is actually related to nanotech? Isn't it just some fancy spray with 'nano' slapped on the label?
Don't you mean Pee?

Gray Death was Deus Ex (1).
No idea what we're talking about?
Shame on you for never having played Deus Ex! Tsskt tsskt!
