M$ will provide a "security" patch that will check for the prosence of "potentially viral" software (read Firefox) then provide a solution that will cripple Firefox's funcctionality."
This isn't scientific or anything but since I last used windows update, Firefox won't copy text, items can't be dragged (customise toolbars, manage bookmarks) and the installer crashes everytime (versions 0.98, 1.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2). Needless to say, it would need to get alot worse before I switch back to IE. In fact, no, I'd just use Opera.
What they should have done is to give the robot non-functioning legs and put it in an electric wheelchair.
If it ever runs out of power someone can push it around. Then when the robots become powerful they'll remember what we did for them.
The great thing about the Honda ad was that everything was balanced to within a hair's breadth.
Not to mention all the extra wires that were taken out in post-production.
I like this video simply because of the fact that it was just made in someone's room. The Heath Robinson approach makes it so much better.
People are often said to talk at people, ie. talking in an offensive manner, almost shouting, no room for a reply, etc.
Creative use of language, it's what makes reading interesting.
I heard that someone stole some software from M$. If they've lost it I'm sure I got a copy of Windows lying around somewhere that I can give them. They can just pay me for the blank CD.
They should make more backup copies for themselves.
80% above average is nothing special.
What's the average of 10, 10, 10, 10, 0?
People make a lot of fuss about numbers they read without understanding how to interpret them.
What the hell is this crazy site? I came here looking for slushdoot.
"...trucks equipped with lasers...", Google have finally begun their attack on the world...
screen resolutions above 800 X 600 DPI (dots per inch).
On my 17" monitor that would be a resolution of 10400 x 6000.
I think they could have left the "DPI" out.
base 46 or some-such.
Sureley 42?

I did some "testing" of my electronic equipment in various liquid situations. Results are:
Mobile phone takes 3 day to recover from toilet.
Laptop takes three weeks to recover from juice spillage.
Needless to say, these tests weren't entirely my conscious decision.
Two scenarios:
1) Someone downloads some music so they can listen to it.
2) Someone downloads some music, claims they wrote, recorded and produced it and then tries to sell it to other people.
I hope you can see the difference.
(I am not, BTW, saying that downloading music is necessarily acceptable either)

The "ad" word, common in the US, should have given it away. It is just "advert" with an important syllable taken out.
