I was a beta tester.
It just wasn't terribly useful. I know what they were trying to do, but it failed miserably. The reason they all sold out on Tiger Direct is because the devices came a hundred times more fun after they were hacked.
Remember the 3Com Audrey? Palm tried something like this before, and it was an complete failure. Unfortunately, I see this device meeting the exact same fate. It's just awkwardly-sized and not quite useful enough. WHY are they making this mistake again!?
For instance, we all know that ODT is the superior document format, but try giving one to someone (in the Joe Schmo category) who only uses Word. Or maybe - just maybe - this will result in Microsoft finally having to acknowledge the existence of the ODT document format and have the next version of Office support it natively.
For anyone else who's confused as I am about quantum computing, here's a detailed Wikipedia entry. Now I'm even more confused than I was in the first place.:-\
I've been using a GreaseMonkey user script to apply this style to this site for the last couple weeks. I know the new design is supposed to be deployed in the next couple days, but we all know what "couple days" means:)
I'd recommend installing it so you can browse with the new look right away:)
WinCE is Microsoft's stab at a Linux type of OS. With packages, dependencies, and multiple architecture support, I believe it is the future of Microsoft -- eventually to replace Windows altogether... It's the complete rewrite of Windows we've all been waiting for.
Actually, there will be two home versions. Home Basic and Home Premium. The Home Premium version will offer the interface enhancements. If the Premium version is the one bundled with new Dell PC's, you can bet all apps will be written to take advantage of the new UI - and we'll be seeing it everywhere.
Actually, looks like they just (finally) changed it to download if you leave the textbox blank, even if you leave the checkbox ticked.
How is this thing powered? Is this going to be another thing I have to worry about keeping charged?
... and GPS.

I think the first thing I'll be printing is the lost battery covers to all my remote controls.
Gee, thanks for getting THAT stuck in my head.

Why not be the nice person yourself? Even if you can't play it, you could still upload it to youtube, then watch it :)

This is interesting because it's been stated time and time again: Where there's water there's almost surely life.
So, if they're ordering them now - does that give us an indication of when they'll be released? How long does it usually take to manufacture phones?
Probably compiled without JPG support or something.
I guarantee you 1000 bits makes a difference with the volume of traffic they experience.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit wasn't a Disney movie. It just licensed characters from Disney.
Except that Tivo doesn't currently support HDTV or digital (5.1) audio.
And believe it or not, Dvorak really did whine about System Idle Process hogging CPU time.

Didn't the Bible predict this in Revelations? Am I way off here or doesn't this like the beginning of another fulfilled prophecy?
