Were these just available in Canada? I was buying these years ago but the company disappeared. I loved them because they were 1.5v rather than 1.2 volts.
Convenience (size, online access) is, at least for me, beginning to be outweighed by the cost, availability of older works (10-20years) and as other's have stated, quality of new content. I can see a new release of a popular author in hardback costing $29, but an ebook? WTF? digital delivery should count for something.
Yup. They would have to get into the real estate business too, so these things have somewhere to land. My first thought was 50 miles, woopie-doo. You would probably end up driving more than that to get to your destination between getting to and from places these things could land.
Actually, professional photographer's probably use CF cards. The esc key can emulated, and probably added to the touch bar. Ethernet is probably not used as much as you think it would be. Arguing that because someone doesn't use a port makes them not a professional, maybe they're a different kind a professional. Apple can't build a machine to meet every persons needs. If it doesn't work for you; don't buy it.
It's fucking not just usb c. It's thunderbolt 3, and usb c and the charging port. 4 40GBbs ports! That are not polarized! (the connector goes in either way) What's not nice about that! I agree that there should have been at least one type A port for 'legacy' devices, but I don't see an adapter/dongle as being a deal killer; and there's already plenty of thunderbolt docks out there; albeit most are thunderbolt 2 right now.
I guess I should have said I was agreeing with you. "Look how tiny Japan is compared to the mainland US" And, yes, over half being mountainous kinda leaves sweet nothing for a 31 km ring.
Exactly; this isn't an Apple thing, it's becoming an industry thing. My Le Pan tablet - non user replaceable battery, Motorola blue tooth hands-free unit, same, my Vtech cordless phone, user replaceable, but batteries are only available from Vtech. Sooner or later companies will figure out that they can do the same thing with batteries as they did with ink cartridges.
For at least three years the trackpads have been multi-touch; so, at least within bootcamp, the right click etc is emulated by having two fingers on the trackpad while clicking...

Like this one?
I believe this is a case of "Waaah, Costco pushed us off the gravy train!"

Time to put on your tin foil hats boys and girls!

Because there's a few countries that haven't seen the shining light that is the metric system.

What do disrupters do then?
Wow, 13 hour long episodes!? I'm gonna need at least 2 bathroom breaks!
If we are talking about the carbon footprint of growing the asparagus, don't we also have to include the carbon footprint of producing the the bus?

Outline of Japan superimposed on the US...

Pay those whom support the technology exorbitantly , and we'll buy big houses and hire gardeners, maids, butlers etc. Problem solved.
They forgot the option:
TL;DR
Yes, but it is 'a quarter-million miles' difference between two arbitrary values. So why not make it a nice round number?
They're all scumbags! (and it's nothing new)

Yeah, like the USB2 port...WTF?

Another vote for the Sennheiser HD280's. Best headphones I've ever owned.

Did PJF ever complete the World of Tiers series? I don't think Kickaha's world was ever published (or written)
Agreed. A raging piece of crap if there ever was one. "based on" read: we used a similar setting and some character names...
