    Oops. The command should be:

    avg_free_stf_*.exe /REMOVE_FEATURE fea_AVG_SafeSurf /REMOVE_FEATURE fea_AVG_SafeSearch

    Because the second part looks like a copy of the first part.

    Works fine for me. Might want to try this: Go to advanced settings > resident shield and uncheck "scan potentially unwanted programs and ..."

    I have a better idea. The new "feature" ("Safe Surf") is total crap. AVG's FAQ tells you how to remove the component from an installation: avg_free_stf_*.exe /REMOVE_FEATURE fea_AVG_SafeSurf

    The first note already was a surprise. It seemed as if analog was even more analog. That little edge on middle and high notes, that glare, was completely gone now. Overall the sound was warmer, more rounded and fuller of color.
    Amazing. I didn't know sound had color. Aren't placebos amazing?

    The router at home runs a precompiled version of Gentoo with HTB init and ESFQ. Works great especially since there's one person here who used to suck up all bandwidth making the internet unusable for everyone else.

    Realtec AC'97. It's a great integrated audio controller. I don't see the point in buying add on sound cards now that the on board audio is more than good enough.
