Whatever you do, don't tell him you can't find any naturally cultured butter in this country, or that almost a quarter of the milk sold is *choke* skim.
I wonder about the Weston A. Price foundation, though. Anyone know whether their own crusade against soy is well-founded? I thought soy was good for you...
I've been doing a lot of introspective thinking about how much I work vs. how much actually gets done. And really its only the last 4 hours before a deadline that the work gets done - regardless of how many all-nighters were pulled.
Same here. As I have said before, a 3-day work week could potentially preserve current productivity while increasing happiness.
I really just need a drug that'll push me into the last-mile mindset and get me to actually do the amazing work that gets done under pressure. Caffeine and nicotine just don't cut it anymore.
Actually, being the second-mover in an immature market is often the best position to be in, as the first guys have already made all the mistakes that you don't have to make. And the "bulk of the customers" have not already set themselves up with the first choice. Most potential customers don't even know these immature markets exist; I wonder how many will know when Yahoo puts 360, flickr, VoIP, and all the rest on its home page, exposing their 250 million monthly unique users to the new services.
Here, here. Perhaps one day the virtual world will eclipse the real world, drawing the masses into it. Then maybe sports would be enjoyed for sport, music and movies would be good once again, and life would be left to those who choose to live it.
the argument is one that it important and there are secular and religious arguments for both sides.
Actually, religious arguments don't fly when you're talking about restrictions placed on society by government. Then the argument becomes purely moral/ethical/scientific.
What's more, since the restrictions are to be instituted by force, the burden of proof lies with the government on the humanity of the fetus. Otherwise we must err on the side of privacy, and allow abortions to continue.
Before you decide you want to live in a libertarian economy, please spend a couple of years in Russia, Mexico, Turkey or any of the many 2nd and 3rd-world nations where the government is practically non-existent...
Most of the world's economy has been primarily libertarian since the dawn of man.
That's a little different from a genuine "free market economy" with a strong rule of law, isn't it?
For instance, check out myth #7 on this list for a little more on what "laissez-faire" actually means.
The "center" between Republicans and Democrats, especially when viewed compared to other countries, is right of the actual "center", whereas the LP would be on the true "center", therefore closer to the left. If that makes sense.
Agreed. Especially since Google ranks your page by how many pages link to it, what is wrong with having an incentive to getting the word out about your site to all the other relevant sites?
Stimpy: Ren... I've got a surpriiiise for you! Come out come out, wherever you are!... Hey... Maybe Ren is somewhere being sad! I will make him happy again! *Bzzz*
You could get rid of your TV altogether!

I would recommend Provigil to almost anyone.
Here's some insight:
How many people have ever lived on Earth?
So yes, at this point, anybody who really wants a gmail account has one, but spammers have largely been shut out.
How so? Couldn't spammers invite each other?

Worldwide online brand advertising is expected to grow 21 percent this year from $11.3 billion to $18.2 billion, according to Goldman Sachs.
Ahem.
I think most Democrats and Republicans in Congress are essentially the same side, except for minor differences.
You might want to consider supporting Congressman Ron Paul. He ran for President on the Libertarian ticket in 1988. See some of his latest votes against the energy bill ("leave no lobbyist behind"), against the Patriot act reauthorization, and against the flag burning amendment.
They also count down the top 40. *Shudders*

Left, right... pfft. That's just one dimension! At least go for two. Or, *spooky music*, three dimensions!
Oh, he was talking about Python. Better, also, not to ramble on about swallows with women unless you are sure you are funny.
The fact that GTA wasn't rated mature is a problem
GTA _was_ rated mature.
I'm going to put 4 stamps on there just to be safe.
Excuse me, I should have linked here.
Very good idea, IMO.
