    minecraft allows for unlimited power for the circuits using redstone wires. there was flow logic before redstone using falling sand, however, these types of circuits require you to refill the source of the flow (sand), every time you wanted a new computation done.

    Just because software is open source does not mean it is easily modified. In many cases, it could be easier to rewrite it from scratch to do the same thing than to modify existing code that is terrible.

    I think the implication is that a few kids still in school don't have the skill set to address those issues, let alone write quality code yet.

    craigslist is the only adult services listing site that reports tips to the center for missing and exploited children. these listings are just going to go somewhere else that won't report any listings and will be harder for law enforcement to find.

    A user can prevent the profile picture from showing, and you can't search by email address (that I know of). However, this bypasses the profile picture privacy option.

    I believe that this doesn't actually require the app to need the Internet permission. I believe it just requests the pay information from the Market app and the Market app uses the Internet, so you'd have to use droidwall to block market's internet access.

    What legitimate reason is there to accept JS? Your friend isn't going to send you javascript, and a mailing list that uses HTML still has to cater to as many clients as possible which means they still use tables for layout.

    I don't think it's stupid to spend more than $100 on a video carrd (I definitely have), but it does seem hard to argue that $200 is a bargain priced video card. I would probably call it mid-range?

    well, because the devices send any keyboard command, you can take over the machine and do anything. however, if you just want to wreck havoc with powerpoint, then you could probably just bring your own keyboard presenter and it will probably work the same way. like someone using a remote control on your tv

    Clarification, I understand how you can analog capture HD cable, but you can't do WHATEVER you want with the digital output because of the DRM on it. So you have exactly the same methods of capture that would work exactly the same whether watching hulu or cable. (except there are methods of capturing the flash stream that have been successful already)

    Please explain to me how to do that with HD cable. With analog output, I could do exactly the same thing with hulu on the ps3 or xbox or compatible blu-ray player.

    this is clearly mostly supplemental to netflix and competitive to cable. netflix rarely has shows for instant viewing the day of. this helps fill that empty hole. $10 for 75% of the content i pay $100 for cable for, is a decent deal. especially when it's available on demand.
