IIRC from accounting class, the state you are incorporated has little to do with where you do business and pay taxes.
The majority of american corporations are incorporated in Delaware, regardless of where they actually do business, because of friendlier laws there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delaware_corporation
So to avoid this the publishers would have to completely move operations out of NY I believe.
human minds engaged in doing mathematics must somehow be able to connect with this non-physical state. Wouldn't this just be our observations of the world around us?
I haven't read TFA yet but it sounds like a troll written by someone who doesn't really grok math and physics (not that I completely do either).
Take addition for example.
Did some balding Greek define addition, or did he have 1 apple in one hand, 1 apple in the other hand, and discover that he had 2 apples total?
It is pretty easy to swap it out actually, and I'm pretty sure they've used at least RC versions as default in previous releases with no ill effects that I can recall.
Firefox, and ubuntu in general, update automatically by default so any deficiencies will soon be remedied.
Because the city/state/feds want to tax every dollar 3 or 4 times every time it changes hands. They tax your employer, then they tax your pay, then they tax you when you spend your pay. A bunch of different taxes don't bring out the pitchforks as fast as one huge one.
just because someone feels passionately about something does not make them wrong. Maybe not necessarily, but when someone bases their world view on video games I wouldn't bet against it.
Too many people are taking a romantic view of big corporations based on what they see in movies and games which were in turn written by people with little first hand knowledge. I would agree that Monsanto has some pretty aggressive and probably unethical lawyers and collections department people, but when someone starts throwing around words like 'Evil' it's a pretty good clue that they make their decision based on emotion and they find reasons after.
Green on Black Green is right in the middle of our visible spectrum which makes it the easiest for our eyes to pick up. As for which is healthiest for the eyes, probably listening to an audio-book version of the same text...
I know you can get an ATSC (digital TV, which I assume is what everyone is trying to say when they say HDTV in this context) USB tuner from Hauppage at any Radioshack for about 60 bucks.
I don't know if the chinese "HDTV broadcasts" are ATSC or some other similar standard but ATSC would be the only one useful here anyway.
I sell sprint and ATT phones working my way through school.
ATT's 99 dollars a month plan only covers voice. You still pay 15 cents per text message and you pay per kilobyte for medianet (which means you dont use it at all or you get pounded).
Verizon's is the same way AFAIK
If only sprint had real phones (GSM) I would use them in a heartbeat. The CDMA phones they do offer are more expensive than their GSM counterparts unfortunately, and many of them tend to be buggier as well.
You're a little too quick to declare things unpossible.
Actually FLV is a container format. It is possible for a video to be FLV AND H.264 at the same time.
You should also note that the budget is a function of the Legislative branch, which was under Republican control at the time. Just because partisan politics makes it easier to think doesn't mean it leads you to the right answer every time.
Just because something hasn't shipped yet doesn't mean it isn't done. C'mon this is microsoft, even when it does ship it isn't done. This is the least compelling excuse for why they arent improving the spec and implementation of OOXML I have heard.
If you think hemp isn't course[sic] it is because hemp clothing is generally about half cotton. 100% hemp is going to feel like canvas, which might have something to do with the fact that the word canvas comes from cannabis. Hemp is good for lots of things, but the only logical reason to wear it as clothing is a political statement.
I call BS. What game did you test this on that had both OpenGL and DirectX implementations? I want to know which imaginary game studio was stupid enough to waste all that imaginary money duplicating effort, just so you could perform your imaginary test Are you on crack?
I can think of the biggest possible example off the top of my head. World of Warcraft. Smart game studios don't allow the decisions of Microsoft to limit their market. Fortunately smart game studios aren't quite imaginary yet.
The tobacco companies don't own the farms. If the farmers start growing something other than tobacco then they will start selling to someone other than Phillip Morris.
The US has a primitive broadband infrastructure BECAUSE of this sort of activity. With a more competitive marketplace there would be pressure to improve quality, reduce prices, and expand the market. If Verizon has no competition they charge what they want, provide crappy service, and dont invest in their infrastructure.
Germany is funding people to write about things that would benefit the people of Germany. Somehow I think it's going to be more like this: "Germany is funding people to write about things which cast federal german programs and agendas in a favorable light." There is no way this won't turn political.

until it is linux will stay with >1% marketshare. I don't know what makes this funnier, the fact that linux has hovered around 3% market share for a long time, or the fact that you don't know the difference between greater-than and less-than. Either way I think I've found your problem with using linux: you're a moron.
Ubuntu has no ports open by default, that's pretty 'locked down'. There goes any possibility of a worm or remote attack. Anything else would require some sort of action on the part of a user, opening an email with a virus written for linux attatched and then executing the attatchment for example.

English is complicated too, but people use it every day.
The same could be true of linux.

Sesame oil is actually even worse for deep frying than olive oil.
I think you must be thinking of peanut oil.

I imagine it probably has far too much rotational inertia to do any snappy turns or rolls with its normal sized control surfaces.
Better to bend than to break.
