I went from a HP NX6115 to this evil thing, then again both were free and 'borrowed' from fiances work, guess I get what I didnt pay for (even though the HP worked wonders). *insert aggitation face here*

If I wanted to track my child, I would implant them. :) Seriously though, thinking on this, I have a *almost* 5 year old son, and a girl on the way. I dont need a phone to track down my child, I will know where they are. When I was younger, my mother thought that me having a watch would get me home before curfew, that didnt work. I know kids can be hectic, but I have no reason to get a cell phone for my child before they are atleast 16. As well, right now Hubbys cousin is 17 and in HS, she takes her phone everywhere (mind you, she also works too), but the last thing I want is a note or a phone call from the school going 'your child can not seem to take the phone away from their ear long enough to learn something'......this is a mixed thought I guess.

Hi Im calling to sell you a newspaper? What??! Im blind, send it in braile. *click*

Most of the time I ask them questions regarding how they should handle this call, or tell them I want to speak with their supervisor. Since I have done marketing/funding calls in my youth, I still try and keep updated as to the laws, etc.....but when they constantly try to rebuttal my remarks - then I see if I can make them cry. Its also fun to tell them (since Im with child) they are upsetting my baby and do not call back.....I am evil....it is Monday.

Another year (since no need of a HD) I got a really nice glinder/recliner chair. I would prefer something for my computer more than some poofy thing that more than likely, I will never use. I dont need credit for what I know I know, I know it - thats all that matters. And if I dont know it, I research and learn from not knowing (bet that came out bad since Im sick lol). The study found over the next five years women see themselves increasing their activities in six tech areas: digital cameras, cell phones, e-mail, camera phones, text messaging and instant messaging. I guess its good to try and learn, but how many of these things has a woman not touched or been near? Are the women from this article stuck in the 60's? IM's? Someone mentioned "hat to me is just stupid unless you're an avid movie watcher", but what if we are? This household, has no issues using Netflix, the one time we actually had to wait for a movie (week of 06/06/06 after we watched the newer version of The Omen, I found out DH had never seen the original one, so we waited like a week for it). Was not that much of a problem really. We watch tons of movie, and this service well deff. come in handy since we are expecting first child and will have less time to go out to the Digital Theater here in town to see in THX. If your movies sit around for a really long ass time collecting dust, thats only your own fault. Sometimes we get busy and dont watch it the first day we receive it (maybe 2 days at the most), running a Hosting company and having another FT job, besides normal household duties - but still, IMHO if we can find time, Im sure the most of you can (pause from reading slashdot even for an hour or so, and theres your time, or downloading p0rn, whatever your choice is). krinsh I can agree with you....like I said above, DH with FT job, Hosting company, 5 pets, 7 months pregnant now, even with your life being hectic, you can manage at your own time to watch what you want - if not, then its just sheer laziness. :)

I get bored *way* too easy, drives me batty sometimes. I can easiley (when not working), sit on here, or another forum and spend 3 hours just reading whatever.....good and bad at the same time. Sidenote: I find I work better w/o eating breakfast, need music in the backround (so its not dead silent) & funny little things around my desk so I can take a peek and giggle from time to time, so Im not sucked down into the work hell.
