Since when do 18+ movies only get limited release? There have been huge blockbuster movies with R ratings. They get shown everywhere. Now it's also probably true that most R movies get a limited release, but that is due to the movie, not the rating.
So you never bought a DVD with the mandatory "film previews" ?
Is this an American phenomenon, because I'm in Australia and have NEVER bought or rented a DVD that had previews on it. One had an advert at the start, but every other one has had just the movie and the copyright crap. Now I don't have a huge collection, but it's a large enough sample size for me to think that previews must be rare.
Back in the days of VHS they did have previews though.
Switzerland isn't a Scandinavian country. I think the reason they have less fatalities is that they are required to take slippery driving courses (at least I saw they do this in Finland, not sure about the others) to get a licence.
Someone local please correct me if I'm wrong, I just remember seeing something like this on TV one time.
I would rather an add-on slow down my browsing a bit, than not being able to do what it does at all. That's why I added it on in the first place, after all!
this is not a monopoly, as any search engine could do something similar
It is still a monopoly as long as it has a vast majority of the market share. This doesn't change just because it can be improved, only when the market share changes.
There's so much they could have elaborated on, like the "years of research"
Well, not long after they bought Thinkpad from IBM, they put out a Lenovo update that installed a key logger for their "research". Billions of customer-dollars later and here are the results!
What keyboard are you using that has backspace next to the enter key? All I own have the | \ key between them. My biggest gripe is with laptop keyboards that have Fn keys on the far left, right where the Ctrl key is meant to be. And speaking of function keys, what's with these stupid keyboards that have a function-lock key, and special uses for each of the function keys - none of which actually work - and set the function keys to do this by default every boot?
Presumably good old American engineering can replicate something that the Japanese could do almost two decades ago.
Hahaha! Good one!
You have to admit, the Melbourne one does look pretty cool!
What a load of bull. If all you were buying was the container, why did you buy the Sgt Peppers record instead of the Dolly Parton one?
OK, so somebody won a prize, offered by NetFlix, to do... what exactly?

Most of everywhere is under an inane set of laws mostly pulled out of thin air.
No we don't. Thanks to one man by the name of Michael Atkinson. I thought we're supposed to be a democracy, but I guess not.
I'm 26, and have never experienced it. That does not mean that I don't understand it.
At least there were no doubles.
There's a new Batman game?

Actually we'll be retiring the F-111 next year. We will have a mix of Hornets, Super Hornets and JSF for some time, though.
Having turned 26 yesterday, I would have to agree with you. That said, I haven't actually written in cursive since... primary school probably.
What you are really saying, is that the NES controller is the best for games where there are only two or three things that you can actually do.
You ought to be modded up.
I've seen them in Australia. But only because the Victoria Police bought some to put fear into the hearts of late-night drunks.

Perhaps that's the OS that is running on the computer that he wants to use the RAID in?

Nokia isn't Iranian, nor is it Chinese. They are a Finish company. I've no idea if the US has any trade agreements with Finland.
Wikipedia... I should have known.
