    The Supreme Court isn't very appealing.

    They think Corporations are People when they're not even mentioned in the US Constitution even though Wall Street had been around since before NYC was English-speaking.

    And that's the thing.

    Are those users "on Facebook" or "on Zynga" when they're doing that?

    Even when they're not playing games, a lot of my FB status feed is about stuff like Mafia Wars or Farmville that gets past the "Ignore Mafia Wars" option for Newsfeed.

    And some is YouTube videos my friends keep sharing too. I blame iPhones and Droids for most of that.

    We only have about six computers in our labs that run Windows, mostly for submission reasons, and unfortunately some of those are required to use Outlook. Most of the rest are Linux.

    Let me see. I can already get free wireless all over campus and at most coffee shops and all libraries. I already get internet at home and the $50 Wireless N router gives me access at home.

    Yup, it's a very cheap phone. Most bars around here have free wireless too.

    Where do you live, Podunk, Illinois?

    most phones cost $500 if you take away the carrier subsidy (the 2 year contract they lock you into).

    try buying the phone without the contract and you'll see what I mean.

    Look, it's built into the circuitry. I'd have to be stupid not to know that, and we have lots of scientists from Vietnam, China, Japan, and South Korea here - their relatives are working on this stuff, of course I know about it.

    Accept nothing less than a carrier-neutral camera-option iPad. If you can, wait until they release the 3D version that uses the Nintendo tech, cause that rocks.

    But in actual practice, if you have a $40 Wireless N router, an iPad makes a very cheap phone.

    And it comes with the ability in the new model releasing later this year to use iFace to share pics while you talk with iSkype.

    Computers were originally used mostly for accounting, calculating missile trajectories, and for other stuff, but we don't use them to do that now, for the most part.

    You don't deal with issues like this by inaction, or by battening down the hatches while leaving a giant pipeline of hackers and botnets flowing from China into the US.

    You pull the plug on the root servers recognizing China until THEY shut them down.

    Each asteroid has a larger chance of inter-asteroid impacts.

    Perhaps a better choice might be one of the moons of Mars, so that we can build a giant space ladder our robot overlords can climb up on the way to invading us?

    The reality is that nuns are a very good group of subjects, since they not only donate their brains after death - which is essential in determining AD status, but we have full medical histories on them for many decades.

    None of our current studies focus on religion. The major risk factors are genetic and linked to diet and lifestyle.
