    I don't know man but look at Windows phone, it's been dead for years. That's my own opinion, but if there wasn't a free Android OS, Windows Phone would still be alive and kicking. Same for BlackBerry.

  2. You don't need a plugin to block ads. I use AdAway for (rooted) Android and it redirects ad sites to 127.0.0.1

    But your phone has to be rooted to use it. Adaway can be downloaded from D-froid [ http://f-droid.org/ ]. Each known ad web url is redirected to 127.0.0.1, really rocks :)

    I've seen people reporting that the memleak of Lollipop that was supposed to be fixed in 5.1 already, and in 5.1.1 is still not fixed, and I experience my Nexus 7 being really slow.
    I can see this new post on Reddit but also this post on a much more reliable source, xda-developers.

    You may Save a few bucks using pirated software but you'd better stay with the original Play store even if it costs you some dollars to register your app and at lest you make a developer happy for his job

    Well as I read this article, I just apt-get upgrade my system and voilÃ, vulnerability fixed. This is not to say "haha Debian p0wnz you" because any *serious* distro would be that reactive, I just find that's awesome to have patches available so quickly after a flaw is found.

    Well yes and no, patent protects innovation because you have a monopoly on your idea. Then up to you to make other researches on new products with the money gained.
    But if you use a patent, you're forced to reveal your idea and prepare your competitor to use it later. You're never forced to patent your idea tho (see Coca-Cola, never patented, receipt never given).

    Of course there are only a few if you compare the number of French movies coming to the US to the number of movies released by Hollywood. Don't forget to take the number of inhabitants between both countries into account, and the fact that Hollywood also releases super-high-sfx (even if super-low-scenario) movies that sell very much.
    I don't want to say that everything coming from Hollywood is pure cr@p I love US movies, I just want to compare the budgets allocated to both industries. In the US a movie is sometimes more considered as a product (how many theater tickets sold ?) than really an art.

    Les visiteurs (which would translate "the visitors" in English) has also been remade as "Just Visiting" in the US. Then it came back in France as "Les Visiteurs en Amerique" ("the visitors in the US" literally)
