I'm still not sure you can keep your DVD collection on hard-drives, I have a collection of around 100 DVD+R's that contiues to grow everytime Netflix sends me another movies.
At this rate I'd need a server with 470gb of space, by the end of 2006 I'll probably almost need a 1tb server. This amount of storage for the average person would be rather expensive, even though the price of hard-drives continue to fall.
Use CloneDVD to rip your current movies and this should remove the region encoding and encryption. Then burn them to a DVD-R or +R, as long as your DVD player will play these type discs you should be good to go.
If you go this route you don't ever have to buy another DVD, just buy or rent.
Another thing, you don't have to use CloneDVD, there are alot of free programs that will copy your DVD's (DVD Shrink & DVD Decryptor). See http://www.afterdawn.com/ for more information, it's a great site for information on copying DVDs.

As long as I can still use DVD Decryptor and DVD Shrink on these discs I don't really care.
I don't think the market is ready for a new format, I mean how long was VHS out before DVD became available? I've built up a solid collection of DVD's and I don't plan on buying them over again (I mean renting from Netflix and copying them).
Should be interesting how this pans out...
Are you referring to the Library within iTunes? All you have to do is import those music files into the library within iTunes.
File > Add folder to library
Someone should get him a copy of AnyDVD and CloneDVD, that way he can rip his own movies and remove the encryption... Fight the Power! Copy Movies...

I love puzzles!
Hmm...Nintendo fan boy - check. I've played most of those games and really didn't care for them other than the Metroid Primes.
Either way, both machines are going to kick a#$!
Not a big fan of Halo myself, prefer Halo 2. Just kidding, I just wish Nintendo would make games like the used too.
Anyone read this article? Seems IGN thinks the 360 will be a superior gaming machine. http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/617/617951p1.html
Have you read this article, IGN seems to think that the 360 will be superior to the PS3, let me know what you think. http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/617/617951p1.html
Remember one thing, you get what you pay for. I mean how many times can you play Mario and Zelda!
Who needs to pay for a music service when there is BitTorrent?
Well thats a good explanation. Just kidding about the comment earlier...
Get a life dude!
Nintendo has better games? Are you on crack?
Like a lot of people I end up buying both.
