In related news the CIA has issued a press release that they will be working with AOL to make version 10.0 the "most secure version ever" in the interests of the American Public.
If you're running raid5 it's probably in an enterprise setup. If so, why aren't you running a dedicated controller? The CPU should have little to no impact on the raid subsystem...
Seems odd to me that the inquirer is the only one reporting this. How about a real hardware review site?
You don't even need to setup WEP, although it would arguably be easier. Just redirect them to a web page and make them accept whatever TOS you want before they can actually use the AP.
it's not strange at all, all the spammers are targetting google. As with all things, when the brilliant people who are on the "dark side" attack something, they win. Thi sis just another backup tot he poitn that linux/OSX would have just as many exploits as winblows if they were as popular.
warning, I am currently drunk, but I did figure out br so I am apparently not THAT drunk. That is all.
Why do I get the feeling "microsofts domain" included MSN.com, and the reviewer failed to point out that msn is actually an ISP as well. It's real easy for google to attain 100% when they don't actually serve any end users. The results just reek of setup to me.

If only you knew. There's a large community out there that makes "extensions" for IE as well, you've just never bothered to look.
Who says he isn't aiming this at them (end user ISP's)? Last I checked the type who read slashdot tend to be the type who at least get a vote as to who their transit is coming from.
because they used to actually do linux administration, that is no longer their focus. They changed the name of the company to relfect a change in business model. Welcome to marketing101. There's no way anyone was giving "linuxcare" anymore VC money, as was pointed out if you RTFA.
or PERHAPS it was because those mathematics courses were REQUIRED for undergraduates. The women had no DESIRE to pursue it further, and as they were no longer REQUIRED they CHOSE not to. I guess you wanted to ignore that aspect to make it look like men and women aren't different though.
Most people go post-grad to further there career. There's plenty of classes I was interested and quite good at in undergrad that I would never pursue down the road because they have absolutely nothing to do with my career. I don't have the time or money to pursue courses for the sheer enjoyment of it, and I would be willing to put money on the fact that most people in america are in the same boat as I am. If I do pursue post-grad it will be nights and weekends, and will most likely be hell.
Nice small sample set, but you did a piss-poor job of actually reasoning why it might be the cause and effect.
We work with them on several projects and for the amount of money they spend with us I can't believe they're "going under" anytime soon. Either they're in a shitheap of debt, or the parent is wayyyyy off base with his accusations.
These are the same people who claim everytime you buy a joint you're supporting Osama. Did you really expect better?
I'm sure they try significantly harder if you've been a member for more than a day...
tell that to these guys.

Python/perl/java have not suffered in any tests I've seen. I guess that leads me to question these findings even more.

cp?
But did he run Linux?
I'll be here all night folks!
But does it run Windows Cluster Edition? (Bet you didn't see THAT one coming)
You should work for the Bush administration!
"They're" winning? Exactly which market has microsoft pursued that it doesn't either already own, or expanded that you see on that map, or in general?
^^this man speaks the truth.
Why do you think cray has already deployed IPv6?
Can it? Is that a rhetorical question? Linux already is a cash cow, I think Redhat proved that long ago...

In communist Chin... er, in this "post 9/11 world" you're guilty until proven innocent. Didn't you get the memo? Terrorist.

contrary to popular belief, letting people wallow in their own ignorance isn't a good way to go about life.
Exactly what holes did you think should be barred?
Here's a hint: that phrase pertains to fighting, and it's no HOLDS barred.

When asked about his thoughts on this position change, Ballmer was quoted:
"I'll fucking KILL him!"
