  1. Which is why social research often has between 1500 and 5000 measured variables - which AI is starting to use.

    I think you greatly overestimate the ability of people to come to logical conclusions.

  2. It comes down to that factual based AI decisions are clashing with society's lies.

    Also don't confuse micro vs macro. Comparing 1 person to their group is likely the biggest logic fallacy out there.

    There are about half a dozen good movies and maybe half a dozen series that are ok enough to watch while vegging out. The rest are filler garbage.
    I still rent DVDs simply because of content. Streaming content is horrible. It's back to paying for $20 CDs for 1 good song.

    The Fed will never end a massive pork barrel project like this, so suggesting they "could" is unreasonable and very inaccurate. "Could" that has a very low chance effectively means 0.

    Bandwidth is following Moore's law - doubling per dollar every 2 years. Despite that, my 2 local options for internet have gone from 0 caps to 350gb to 300gb to now 250gb - while raising prices. If there was actual competition then they'd be doubling my cap for the same dollar every 2 years.

    Evil corporations.

    90% of it is Security Theatre to get people flying. Politicians only care about what 50% + 1 of the voting public thinks and reacts to - not what actually works.

    Unless the computer is figuring out every possible combination 1, 2, or more steps ahead. That how computers beat chess and could really improve in predictive modeling. Depth/Lookahead depends on how fast the logic flow branches. To think about it more, it'd be a great factor in human predictive analysis, from driving to combat.

    There is no problem so there is no fix. Machines don't work well in a human world with lots of variables. Heck, the fastest computer can barely beat people at chess - a game with pieces that only move here and there, not 456543233435! different ways.

    More experienced employees usually have far better dollar-per-result ratios than inexperienced employees. That's why they make more.

    I charge $250 an hour yet have more work than I can handle because it is 1/4 the price that companies pay for a large team to get a similar amount of work done. Am I expensive? NO.

    Completely disregarding that coal puts out 100x more radiation during normal operations than all the nuclear meltdowns combined.

    Hope is a lie.

    This was foreseen but not avoided because it didn't follow the marketing lies of the politicians and self deceiving voters.

    It's also foreseen that an integrated system of many energies will still fail because it doesn't even out. You're exasperating peak load with least production.

    We have a perfectly good solution for carbon free economical electricity: nuclear. Even better, it only emits 1% the radiation that coal fire plants do.
