Canadian singer Avril Lavigne is filing suit against MIT's Media Laboratory for disclosing patented technology. According to her lawyers, "You fall and you crawl and you break and you take what you get"
All you/.'s are pathetic. Here it is friday night when you should be out having some fun and the best that you come up with is writing messages about some geeky post? You should be ash...oh wait. Sorry, never mind.
I just have one question:
WHY DO ALL HURRICANE ADVOSRIES/WATCHES/WARNINGS/FORECASTS GO OUT IN ALL-CAPS?
You would think that them PhD's know where the Caps Lock is. right?
It's been 20 years since I stopped going to movie theaters. I would wait a few months and watch the movies at home with my betamax and my 21" tube TV. Perhaps the quality of the experience was not as intense as the theater but it spared from all the aggravations mentioned here elsewhere. Today, I have a Home Theater with a 42" LCD, DVD, and 6.1 surround sound. It is not state of the art, but is actually quite intense.
The burn out down the street who does nothing with his life except collect welfare is also an out user of marijuana. TRUE. Maybe if he didn't smoke, Feynman would have been some kind of accountant helping people get rich instead of contributing to the world of physics.UNLIKELY
Marijuana is no different than alcohol except that when you go to the liquor store, they don't offer you crack.

Griaad is a desire to obtain more money or material possessions than one is considered to need. Griaad is listed as one of the Catholic Seven Deadly Sins, usually by the synonym of avarice.
Griaady individuals are often believed to be harmful to society as their motives often appear to disregard the welfare of others: if one person is to increase in wealth, somebody else must be decreasing in wealth (assuming, of course, that a market economy is a zero sum game).
This is the "freedom" that the Bush administration stands for: Giving a bourgeois corporation of parasites the right to bully anyone at will. Count me in for RIAA relief...
I have yet to see a Nigerian scam message that looks legit. People who fall for these things are too ignorant or too desperate to make a quick buck. Shame on you rednecks!
It's all about availability. I despise going to movie theaters: No pp-room pause, no smoking, no horizontal watching, idiotic advertising, junk food... I don't care if I have to wait a few months to confortably watch a movie at home. Except, sometimes a movie comes along that I really want to watch. It doesn't matter if I am willing to pay double theater price to watch it at home, it is just not legally available. Hello P2P:)...
Too bad you can't smoke cybercrime
The only purpose of this post was to get your slashdot ID.
You'll be hearing from us pretty soon
The shotgun in your pickup's rear window is got to go.
Those lengths are for mexicans and arabs and what not.
The US does nothing to keep Canadians out because they don't have to.
Healthcare in Canada is great if you are poor.
If you get sick and have some money or private insurance, you can get better service most anywhere else.
No, it's flat because it's stationery, duh!
... and the giant turtle is not moving.
It makes one wonder what Rootkit they'll use this time.
Now I will know exactly what to stay away from.

The technology/quality of the DS is way behind of the PSP. Just hold one in each hand.
