    The same thing happens when a mac os x or windows story comes along. Someone feels it's necessary to voice that linux is better, or works for them, or their grandmother.

    Isn't family guy a FOX production, not Viacom? Comedy central has legal right to rebroadcast the reruns, and that is all.

    Now Futurama is another issue...I believe Comedy Central is bankrolling the production of the new episodes, so you would need to avoid them.

    Mac OS X gives the user the ability to switch the function of some keys under the Keyboard Preferences.

    I remapped my Alt key to Command and my Windows key to Option to match my dead apple type 1 keyboard.

    It's under Modifier Keys in Keyboard.prefPane.

    Actually, the court had several judgments against her for her creditors. They were all dissolved upon the judge declaring her bankrupt.

    It does not remove gov't grants such as school loans from Direct Loans, but it does dissolve most judgments against you.

    Bankruptcy dissolves all debt, no one will be calling you ever again.

    It takes less than 3 years to re establish a credit score after bankruptcy.

    It takes less than 7 years to re-establish a GOOD credit score after bankruptcy.

    How is this anything like prison? How are you not allow to add to society? I have a friend who just went chapter 7 and she was able to rent an apartment less than a year later.

    The macbook is three screws. Remove the battery, remove the three screws on towards the inside of the machine in the battery door, remove that cover the screws were holding onto, pull the drive out.

    I just replaced the keyboard, bottom case and battery connector to my first gen macbook (white). It took about 2 hours and about $200. Apple would have charged me more than that and I refuse to pay for apple care from a previous debacle.

    I don't see the problem with fixing it yourself. The parts are easily available from iFixit and the time it took wasn't that far above what I expected for a complete tear down and build up of a laptop.

    And that cable box doesn't necessarily have to comply with their switched digital video streams which means ALL new HD channels are unavailable to you, the same way they are done with cable cards.

    I can't get the newer ones release in the area with my TivoHD.

    Distribution will never be free...unless you don't mind your listeners being subjected to massive amounts of annoying advertising or their email being sold over and over again.

    $45 software doesn't do much without the computer, you might need to buy that. Oh and the materials for a decent sound recording room.

    It's still not something everyone can just jump into free 'free' or next to free.

    The problem is that even if it ignores the broadcast flag, you aren't going to get HD signals from a cable box (ignoring broadcast flags remember? No on standard CBS,ABC, etc) over coaxial cable nor svideo.

    So you're still only getting standard def television for everything that you can't pick up OTA.

    What we need are cost effective input cards that can take HD signals over either HDMI/DVI or Component and still ignore the broadcast flag...key word being cost effective :)

    I can almost guarantee you, most web site exploits are exploits that involve the application, not the server.

    So yeah, OS-neutral. PHP is OS neutral and so is ASP. I've seen crappy applications written in each.
