I have a Nexus 5 and am currently on stock, but seriously considering one of the 7.1.1 builds. The one thing that keeps me on stock is Google SafetyNet. I have some apps (Android Pay, etc.) that need a SafetyNet pass to run. So far it doesn't look like custom ROMs will ever be able to support this on anything passed 6.0.1.
I wondered that too. I asked those involved with the design and they said that according to their tests, nearly all buildings are quite leaky and that the ventilation systems don't effect pressure enough to throw off the readings.
They also assist in Emergency (911 and such) location. I worked at a company that develops the MEMs ICs for the pressure sensors and one of the goals was to determine accurate enough altitude information to determine the callers location in a tall building. If you call 911 in a high rise it would be nice for the emergency personnel to know which floor you are are on.
When I got to the polls at around 10 there were only 3 people in line in front of me. I spent 2-3 hours researching the various candidates and propositions on the ballot.
Here's a great example of mainstream media blowing things up to get eyes on their site. Microsoft had one of the best FYQ4s ever and if it wasn't for a write off of $6 billion on a stupid acquisition in 2007 it would have made a huge profit. MS stock is up and investors are happy. Haters are going to hate.
I've been using Fuduntu for nearly a year now (Fedora based, roling release distro that has stuck with Gnome 2) and it has worked out well. I don't know how long they can keep away from Gnome 3, but for the time being I'm grateful that they aren't jumping on the unity/Gnome 3 bandwagon.
Take-off seems to be where most problems occur. If you remember, the reason that Columbia burned up in re-entry was because of a problem that occurred at take-off (foam flying off and ripping a hole in the wing). If Columbia would have had a successful take-off, they most likely would have had a successful re-entry. I think take-off is more dangerous because you are not strapped to millions of pound of explosives when you re-enter.
I just use the $6.99 t-zones from t-mobile and get unlimited data and tethering via bluetooth/usb. I takes a little messing with my proxy settings, but with the switchproxy add-on and Firefox that isn't a big deal.
Unlike religion, scientific believes can change when new evidence shows old ones were wrong. Religion doesn't change no matter how much evidence there is showing it's wrong. Religion is based on faith not evidence. Once evidence is present, faith ceases to be relevant as there is no longer need to "believe" because your belief has turned to knowledge.
I think science and religion can exist quite nicely together. The scientists can experiment and try to figure out how the earth/people/universe came to be in its present state. Religionists can try to explain why the earth/people/universe exist (why did God create all this?).
You're just jealous because that little brat Anakin has a higher Midiclorian count than you do. I bet if you had an ultra-high count like him you wouldn't be bad-mouthing the little critters.
The Delta II can use up to 9 strap on rocket boosters in addition to the main main motor. This configuration has flown successfully for many years. If they try to make all 10 boosters controllable I could see them having problems (like the Soviet Moon rocket). If they just have a few motors for control and use the rest for boost it will probably be an easier task.
I actually had the opposite experience. I had Mandriva 2005LE running fine on my hardware but decided to give Ubuntu a try because of all the hype surrounding it. It totally flopped. I couldn't get my wireless NIC working and without a network connection my machine is useless.

Check out SparkFun or equivalent. I've also seen some on eBay for as little as $20. http://www.sparkfun.com/categories/147

I don't know if it is the same Judge Edward Harrington, but from this article it appears that he was appointed by Ted Kennedy. http://cphack.robinlionheart.com/thompson#feloniou s_conduct
