    All well and good but you forgot a very important thing. Outside auditing via trusted sources checking for backdoors/trojans. All it takes is one disgruntled employee with high-level access to the source to make it all that much easier for someone to tamper with the system even if it is locked down.

    I remember reading that a few years ago but wouldn't the baby(were she impregnated by whatever means) be human until it was blasted by the light of the sun? Without Kal-el's body being charged by a yellow sun, he would be just as human as we are.

    I have that case(orig. version), via a different named company. It's total shite. The hinge plastic broke the second day. They wanted twenty dollars and shipping to replace it. I said screw it and put the trim peice on instead. As nice as that system looks with its USB and hard drive switch, I can get all that put into one 5.25 slot and into the unused 3.5 slot for ten bucks or so. I'll never buy anything from Ahanix again.

    An AMD option would be nice, but would the motherboards be any good? Most people I know with Dells have problems with shoddy components more than processors. Just because they finally switched to the cheaper proc doesn't mean the quality of build will be any better.

    If Windows ran on proprietary hardware, you'd be singing praises over it like a Mac fan sings over Tiger or whatever their OS is called. Shut up. The problem isn't horrendous code(though that is somewhat a problem, I admit), the problem is millions(probably, I don't code) of lines of code to run on different processors, different video cards, diff mobos, etc., etc., etc. WIndows works. Not well but it works on millions of different kinds of configurations. Apple works on a handful of configurations.

    It really doesn't matter how well they speak English if I still can't understand them through a thick accent/crappy headset. Face-to-face, it's a lot easier than on the phone with someone wearing a headset that was bought since it was the cheapest model on the market. Half the time I talk to a Tech, in the US or out, I constantly have to ask them to repeat, speak up, and/or move the mouthpiece closer.

    Maybe, but there's this thing that happens when slashdot links a site. Their fucking servers go [b]down[/b] so sometimes, people can't read the bloody articles. Yes, it would be nice to have better summarization in the lead-ins.
