it doesn't work everytime, but also mail a single line to webmaster of that bank.
What I see is, Webmasters really respect Opera after learning what that is...
ps: Which I did was, I mailed webmaster of my bank, he kinda ignored via replying some bs about jscript, I canceled my bank account speaking about him and moved to a compatible bank who respects my browser of choice.
I, myself suggested them to use "double click" for legimate popups. At my.opera.com,forums. I donno if they cared,we will see at 7:)
BTW, anyone thinks about how IE and Netscape doesn'T have block popups option natively? Er, checking msn.com and netscape.com would give you a clue, thats why I preferred to buy Opera instead:)
I guess Taco has to install a open source spell checker to Slashdot, those grammar fascists started to get boring you know? Its new kind of karma whoring I guess... Oh,btw it works fine for foreigners like me, if you don't agree with my point, just dig grammar errors...:)
hm I bet you write from USA; it doesn't work like that for Cinemas even, so why they would do it for DVDs which they have the technology (come on, how many non-geek home users cracked their region?) to block them?
It must have kinda support of EU (Europe) too, to protect their movie industry from evil USA:)
Imagine somehow (miracle but..) those MPAA etc decides Region is stupid or, a higher class org. decides so (like world trade assoc. etc), what to do with hundred millions (or more) DVD players at whole glone? Bin them? So they made a scheme easily can be done by the normal household to remove that stupid region thing.
er, I was talking about RAR is the real new generation of archivers for win32 , I kinda remembered it has bz2 support later...
It doesn't change my comment, I was saying RAR isn't an nostalgic stuff as others. BTW, ARJ was evalouated into JAR but seems they couldn't publicize it good.
While speaking about ZIP, did winzip authors even sent a flower to ZIP inventors funeral? Interesting eh?
This is an AMD backed lawsuit? Intel claims P4 has different instructions and if they aren't used, the CPU will perform the same as P3. So, without the code change, that CPU offically sux.
I don't like whole those x86 stuff at all, will switch to mac but... I mean, someone has to say it. E.g. how well would i386 spesific codes would run on P3 for instance?
Those "clever" cheapos who bought Win32 version of Q3 in favor of Loki released Linux are the most responsible for Loki's death.
I heard like, Win32 one was $10 cheaper and those 133t ones bought Win32 version making Carmack question if it was a right choice to release Linux version of games anymore. He was just shocked how bad Linux version sold...
I bet he will release again (as usual) but I don't think there will be a Linux dedicated CD for it... Imagine how many gamers minds changed about linux when they saw that pretty tin box at stores requiring Linux to run...
Oh the ones preferred Win32 version while they had another $10 to spare...They were clever geeks... Real clever (!)
PS: I bought the Linux/Quake III via Loki Online shop, just don'T ask the P&P I paid for (I am in Istanbul)...:)
Check download.com numbers, its real making good on win32 platform lately. Its better than ZIP imho and version 3 is amazingly got better on compression rates (maybe because of multimedia compression). It has a switch to compress mp3 too, donno how good it works.
Those guys, RAR'ed it since its really hard to carry a mp3 on hosting (free?) sites nowadays. One word, RIAA. They scan *.mp3 files constantly.
Oh bzip2, you forget (!) Doom will ship on win32 too, I really wonder how to make a gamer easily uncompress bz2;-)
Maybe he was reading Slashdot over and over so chose wmedia against Realplayer which is "evil, spyware, nagging" application which can even rape his dog!:)
The time Real dies (yea, it just didn't die because of that agressive marketing), say hi to wma. Oh, mp3? MS would find a way for it too.
A company cloning IM stuff and making money of it (Windows platform FYI) acts that way.
If slashdot covered a story either of those companies (AOL,MS etc) blocking them, it would generate "oh evil big companies killing little guy" kind of attitude.
Now ActiveBuddy is the evil for patenting (its bullshit,I know) a thing.
Think again about those win32 clones (note, not speaking about Linux) one more time. Its the stuff could be expected from them anytime.
Sorry if sounds like flame, those companies (oh never confuse Jabber with them) are lame ones. Think about it when next time a company bans them because of security, guess what? They can be right.
at last someone said the truth lol. AOL is in LOVE with popups, I was telling that would happen since first Mozilla 1 is out, meaning "don't even expect it to include"
I guess, the "evil, dark" reason behind Opera bitching on Slashdot is because its closed source, comparing to Mozilla.
Correct me if I am wrong...

Er it works. You can even code a user CSS for your personal taste if you know how CSS works. Even tested on Slashdot
but this one will be closed source, without bunch of clueless geek fantasies :))
MacOSX had a problem itself with browser if I remember correct. 2d acceleration or something. Hope some Mac user comes and tells it.
What a fucking clueless troll u are? FYI (if you care), it downloads ads ONCE a week.
For once, ROTFL especially for rinux part! :)
;-)
Anyone doesn't know where that "rinux" comes, check http://www.engrish.com
They think its also win2k, like guys bought couple of PC's and installed Sims on it :D
win as client...
Do you have a clue about... How much that screen setup costs or who those people might be? They aren't playing Sims or Simcity btw :))
Sandia, gee.
Oh than you know the "region thing" goes over and over at Cinemas BEFORE even first transistor was invented, good than :)
Laserdiscs weren't digital? /me jumps from window
I guess Taco has to install a open source spell checker to Slashdot, those grammar fascists started to get boring you know? Its new kind of karma whoring I guess... Oh,btw it works fine for foreigners like me, if you don't agree with my point, just dig grammar errors... :)

Oh man, you dared to say the words "laserdisc quality" and S-VHS? you will be executed now :)

Its imho of course.

Oh its not a question even... Or it is?

(now I must be executed by points I guess)
Just go to bugzilla and count @netscape.com addresses of developers. Oh btw, some doesn't like to use them.
If Netscape is dead/suspended, Mozilla goes down too.
ps: I am not a Netscape lover anymore after they converted to Mozilla/Opensource,so don't think I am a AOL lover etc. Just stating some facts.
Opera user...
at last someone said the truth lol. AOL is in LOVE with popups, I was telling that would happen since first Mozilla 1 is out, meaning "don't even expect it to include"
Funny, I have clicked on that link with Opera, it didn't "core meltdown" or anything, just opened hundreds of windows and than closed them :)))
;-)
Thanks for making me more sure on browser of my choice
