I don't care how many OS'es you installed with NETBIOS on but I don't think its time to blame Michael. Don't visit the site than,or filter the "evil" Michael stories, geezus.

In fact, what a lame thing/attempt to install Client for Ms Networks on every tcp/ip protocol installed...
Its the same thinking as "install ms wmedia on every machine, people are morons so they will use it anyway", well download.com numbers saying different.
Hey MS, "ms networks" couldn't be a monopoly standard by that tactic, DISABLE its install with a damn SP/hotfix or something. You started to show funny.

This may surprise you, but I see whole mozilla project as a clueless attempt that killed my beloved Netscape 4 and I am a registered Opera user. Now, fish on other areas, troll.

Um, 2-3 clueless replies like you, I'll start to free up some bandwidth on my ISP:))

Oh blame Microsoft for it, those are the morons who installs "client for ms networks" by default, when you install dial up networking or any sort of NIC.
Um, one more thing... You don't need to be a pro to decide about wma or mp3,realaudio,mpeg4 aac etc...
You/me have ears... IMHO, current sound quality champion is AAC (well, some problems with streaming recovery) than Real codec is cool.
I can't understand how people "like" wma sound. It sounds like a tin box or something.
MP3 is the current industry standard. Like it or not. Nobody "pushed" it to become, people chose it. While WMA is being "pushed" by MS, via exclusive deals etc.
Oh, any replies mentioning Real is spyware etc will be ignored. Set the damn thing right.
As an Opera user, not "loving" Mozilla much, I better say, don'T blame Mozilla (browser) when it relies on Sun Java.
We Opera users (and I bet, developers) are having nightmare too... After trying everything, I concluded I better use MS JVM via IE. It makes me sick, but it was reality:(
No support pages on Sun too... I mean for end users. If you ask a question as a non-newbie on usenet etc, you get flooded by same fanatical Sun Java people telling long boring story how MS was evil to Java etc,but no help. Repeat,no help.
Um, any geeks from Sun reading it, work on compatability with REAL LIFE apps like chat etc instead of crying about MS. You shouldn't give Java to MS at first place.
Check http://sash.alphaworks.ibm.com/download/sashjab/ Don't be tricked by it needs IE, it needs MS XML stuff. The Sash thing is in its full a real interesting stuff... I remember I installed Sashjab, with all those cool tricks just made with WEB technologies, thing used LESS than ICQ of that time...
So, IBM isn't new for Jabber.
BTW, in this evil corparate games Internet, I know its a dream but, how a cool thing if all IM relied on a protocol like Jabber...
I believe, as a Slashdot reader, its god damn fast. I have seen stories with 1000 comments (nested) render in 0.01 secs in Opera when you click back button.
It is a real fast browser but not my nr1 reason to use/buy it.
Oh speaking about speed, without any preloading it loads FASTER than IE 6 and displays homepage. Satisfied?
I wonder, what reason makes us to buy faster CPU and more RAM (like 256M) to feed Mozilla developers fantasies, memory hogging code? E.g. instead of millions of people upgrading their system, they can't fix those memory hogging codes, remove needless bloat etc?
You should all understand supporting Opensource is one thing, supporting a memory hog application which in fact, decreased Open Source's prestige is another.
Oh,come on mod me down now... registered Opera 6 user
As a slashdot reader, I am biased against nazis too.
MS is the Hitler of IT.
Um, Mozilla virus infected?

Windows 95,98,98OSR2 too
Um no, I'd prefer to read that bulletin in my browser which supports standards, as a paid windows user.
It doesn't show on my Opera 6.05 browser, that may give you another clue what MS is...
PS: Yea, it supports every standard, save it with IE, open with Opera, it shows.

Caldera Linux was corparate focused. I didn't like it when I tried at home but a business user would love it.

Use of them in worlds best selling PC game ever (The Sims) isn't enough for you?
Oh btw, every windows logitech mouse user has them, as you can see http://www.gamesurge.com/pc/mouse/webwheel.jpg
Some like it, some not (me too, on webwheel) but definately not a thing not having a use.
Er, Webwheel (Logitech mouse driver in windows) could be a good example.
Here is an example. http://www.gamesurge.com/pc/mouse/webwheel.jpg
Its there for 1-2 years but I don't use it.
Yeap, it was a real bad design that made The Sims most selling PC game ever!
Geez...
Lets hope it has H.A.M. ;-)
