    Thats a fantastic summation of the events which lead to SWG's death. I quit SWG around the time that they discovered the secret to becoming a Jedi and im realy sad to see that its continue to fall into its proverbal void.

    Realy makes you wonder what pond MMOG developers creep out of these days, and why on earth someone dosent give me there job =)

    According to www.wikipedia.com, Europes landmass is -57.43% the size of the USA. However it has +190,400,000 people (+103.22% people/km).

    So to compare donated blood based on the land mass countries is pretty pointless, as u appeared to have noticed. Yet having a 'bigger' value dosent seem to be the reason why the USA claims it has more reserve blood per person than Europe.

    In order to steal one must deprive another of somthing. Copying/duplicating does not deprive anyone of anything and is there for not stealing. Sadly, in you're media saturated, brain-numbing, 'do what the TV says' world its easy to forget to think for you're self.

    The simple reason that the focus is on time investment rather than skill in WoW is not because the designers 'got it wrong' but rather an intentional occurance aimed at broadening there playerbase to more casual 'mom & dad' type players. Anyone can play WoW if you have enough time, this is good for some people, but sadly lacking for those of us who are seasoned gamers looking for a challange.

    As for Ralph Kostler, Im realy not sure why so many people continue to blow smoke up his backside. The days of Ultima Online are dead and Starwars Online flopped. But I guess its much like the rest of the gaming world, its not what you know, but how you market it.

    Anyway, I believe I have made my point.

    My statment was aimed at those who as a result of fear become "holyer-than-thou" vigilante types who go about 'fighting the oppression' by oppressing others, and propetuating the cycle of racism, fear and hatred. Best way to defear racism is to break the cycle.

    Theres a differance between believing people of various racial backgrounds are innately inferior/superior and recognising social and physiological differances that may contribute to the inderviduals ability to excel in a particular task. To assume that "everyone is equal in every way" is nieve at best.

    That would depends on what aspect of maturation you are refering too. Humans infants are more 'mature' than alot of infant animals when it comes to developmental maturation. However the length it takes to mature into adulthood does take a while. Dunno, your post just strikes me as an "im angry at the world, humans suck" rant with little supporting substance. Which isnt to say you dont have a point, i just feel its being expressed inadaquatly.

    I for one am getting sick and tired of science rejects finding jobs as scientific journalists. I can understand that they need to 'dumb-it-down' for the mainstream, but its 1 thing to simply a concept, and another to abuse and rape it.

    Thats because cats develop at a differant rate to humans, and there for gain the facilities required for inderpendance faster than a human. That and we cannot communicate with a cat as effectivly as a human, there for leaving more up to the imagination of the interperator, possiably resulting in the illusion that there is more going on than there realy is.

    The question is proposed in referance to the observations which we recognise as representing consciousness.
    In order to understand these observations we need to understand what causes them before we can accuratly determine what "they" are. There for, we need to ask "what is the biological basis for consciousness" in order to answer "what is consciousness".

    This is akin to asking "what is a car" without knowing the systems and components that are put together to create what we recognise as a "car".

    Its one thing to point and say "thats X" than being able to identify Y.

    You have a point. However children reduce the amount of disposiable income, and also the amount of time one has to play games.
    There for, these people are usualy not the within the demographic that the games industry is marketing majority of there games towards.

    Generally speaking, were not self-righteous enough to believe we hold absolute truth which gives us the right to take the right to take the life of another.
