    there are three basic types of fonts, Sans, Serif, and monospace, the rest is just window dressing, sans & serif is for mostly websites and documents, i prefer monospace fonts because they look better in xterminals and midnight commander

    if my computer starts acting odd like it is being remote controlled i will first wipe the drive and do a clean install with a newer cleaner more secure operating system, and if this bad behavior still persists i will take a fucking 8 pound sledge hammer to it and turn it in to a pile of junk in short time

    the Home or Pro version???

    its not that i hate windows, i just find win_10 personal to be annoying, i heard the Pro version gives the user more control over what the OS and i could tolerate that.

    windows 10 is a terrible operating system it is basically spamware, i wiped it off and put the only operating system on that matters to me, Linux!!!

    so what does microsoft expect, people to buy their operating system and be spammed to buy more services, microsoft does not want customers they want cash cows

  15. i been an amazon customer for a few years and for the most part they are okay, but the last year or two i noticed they have been slacking off when it comes to checking the quality of the people they allow to sell on amazon, i been ripped by deceptive bait & switch items a couple of times and it reminded me of the ebay tricks that made me quit buying from ebay, (are the bad vendors following me around?)

    just in time for Linux to make Android & Apple to sweat a little, i bet a purely open Linux phone comes out soon and users will have more control over what apps get installed and more importantly what apps DONT get installed, say bye bye to grandfathered apps that you cant remove like microsoft office or facebook, (are you listening samsung? because i want to to see a Linux phone steal some of your customers away)

    because i dont want to spend hundreds of dollars for a product that does not exist, build it, test it, when it is a verified product that actually does what it is supposed to do then i will buy it, LimeSDR is one that caught my interest, they claim to have a product, but i never seen it for sale at amazon, HRO, gigaparts, or dxengineering or anywhere else reputable and trustworthy for selling high tech electronics

  22. what would be fair to both the corporations that sell smartphones and the customers who buy them is, instead of trying to jam an updated system in a phone that will degrade performance why not just build a stripped down operating system that continues to let the phone function as a phone and camera get rid of everything else, just phone and camera, or just phone and forget the camera, at least it will still be a usable phone, that will work until the customer can afford to buy a new phone, for many people throwing a 1000 bucks down on the new phone is not always do-able at every moment, sometimes other things need paid for that takes precidence

    it has data in & data out, it just needs to be smart enough to sense a headphone when plugged in and pipe audio to it when connected, it can still be used to transfer other data and charge the battery, it just can only do one of those things at a time (not multitask capable)

    just make the new generation of headphones and earbuds use the micro-usb or usb-C or whatever usb the phones will have, it cant be that difficult to send audio that way, and we should not have to buy a 1/8 inch mini plug to usb adapter, include the adapter with the phone or make earbuds or headphones already compatible, (bluetooth is sort of a disappointment for music and streaming audio) about all bluetooth is good for is voice communications, the music stream is just a tad bit too much bandwidth for bluetooth to handle IMO
