yup, microsoft will forever be known as some evil greedy corporate software giant, they have typecast themselves by their own heavy hands, I doubt they will ever erase their own tainted reputation.

i am sure somebody will make a key gen & spoof tool and gently break the "call home to the mothership" feature and/or third party windows update so microsoft never even sees the second-hand licensed winders OSs & office
maybe start his own window manager, i prefer the lightweight window managers and no longer use Gnome or KDE, and i dont even use XFCE anymore, i tend to bounce around between icewm, openbox, dwm, and sometimes windowmaker, yes windowmaker is not dead anymore it seems to have picked up active development again:)

all these OEM computer makers should be disentangled from Microsoft, or be sued in to being compliant with any POSIX compliant OS including BSD & Linux

I will get up and change the channel the old fashioned way for the rest of the day, when i was a kid there were no remote controls, my father's TV had two big giant channel knobs on it, the first one was VHF 2 thru 13 and a "U" between the 2 and the 13 and to get UHF you put the first knob on the "U" and then it activated the second channel knob for UHF channels
