    35% to 60% of the subscribers that surf the internet would vanish in a week (maybe more) they would cancel their ISP accounts, and sell their computers or use them for strictly offline use, (computers do have a purpose other than surfing the internet)

    I own a few acres of wooded land and if i could buy a mini helicopter with a downward & forward facing camera (45 degrees) to keep an eye on my land from inside my home at my computer would be great! i would be willing to pay a few hundred for a system like that

    the money factor needs to be removed from campaigns and restrict all politicans running for office only one hour of television time and a single youtube channel for all the politicians to share and upload videos via an impartial third party so the politicians dont start trolling eachother on it,

    makes me mad at companies like WinRadio and RF_Limited and Icom etc... that charge damn near 1000 bucks and more for a computer controlled shortwave radio or wideband radio when i know they probably have maybe 50 to 150 bucks in hardware

    i wont ever buy one of those high dollar software defined radios or software controlled radios knowing they are not worth what they are asking, i will sooner buy a cheap portable like a sangean for about a hundred bucks

    that sure brings back memories, when i was a kid i had a brother and two sisters and mom was a stay at home mom and dad worked, there was one dial phone for everybody, you know what it is like trying to get to use the phone with that many siblings (especially sisters), cellphones have not been invented, the personal computer not invented, the family car was a 1958 Chrysler Imperial and for fun there was board games or i could go outside and ride my bicycle or skateboard which was dangerous because a pebble could lock up a wheel and off you go flying like a bird without wings so the first lap down the sidewalk was slow so i could brush aside any pebbles, and in an empty lot there was a rust hood of an old car we used as a jump for our BMX style bikes,

    and dont forget the windows users that insist on logging in and running as admin/root for a regular user account because they dont want to be inconvenienced with having to type in a password for anything

    my own brother runs his PC like that and i explain to him the concept of a multi-user system that has root and user accounts and he just stares off in to space with that deer in the headlights look on his face

    and sets in the west, if you were in a spaceship directly above the north pole looking down on earth which direction is the earth rotating? (counter-clockwise) what if you put a garden gnome at the north pole with one of those geeky propeller hats so the rotation of the earth gave it a slight lift and another gnome at the south pole with a geeky propeller hat so it has a slight lift too, (not sure where i am going with this but just thought i would throw it in the pot 0' gold)

    then vote with your wallet, i have never owned an iphone or any other brand of smartphone for exactly that reason, i refuse to spend as much on a cellphone as i would a desktop or laptop computer, i opted to buy a cheap Tracfone for for around 29 bucks and buy a pre-paid card to program it with by three months at a time, that way if my phone gets lost or stolen or broken i have not lost much on it
