yup, i am sitting in south east Oklahoma, just about 40 miles north of the Red River and not far from Lake Texoma and with a HF/Shortwave receiver i can listen to ham radio operators talking on SSB all over the USA mexico & Canada, and the Caribbean islands, and i can listen to radio broadcasts from the EU and Australia, (Radio Australia on 9580 KHZ (31 meter band) comes in with an S9 to S20 db every morning)
all that infrastructure will become useless during a power failure, thats when HF/VHF/UHF radio all running on battery packs come in handy. (and solar & wind powered battery chargers is a good idea too) and even an old fashioned dynamo hand crank wont hurt either.
all the constitution & bill of rights dont mean shit in the real world, all those two documents are used for is to brainwash grammar school children in to thinking the government institutions are actually benevolent, so they wont realize what a bunch of corrupted tyrannical criminals the government is until they are over 40 years old...
i have to say microsoft better call a butcher to cut the fat and bloat out of their current OS before i would bother to use it, i would rather run a lightweight Linux distro on an ARM than the bloated crap microsoft has, i would be ashamed to admit i was a microsoft employee if i worked for them.
any magazine that offers the occupant something for sale then the USPS should be able to charge extra for the delivery of that advertising (junk mail) i have a grocery sack of junk-mail magazines waiting to be recycled and its all pulp spam to me, buy one item 5 years ago and they all share your address and spam your snail mail box for the rest of your life.
i will agree without a valid birth certificate and obama not showing it does look funny, if obama was truely born in the usa and has a valid birth cert to prove it then he should show it because it would be a non-issue...

KDE stopped being a useful desktop environment for me when 3.x was retired, i found kde-4.x to be an annoying useless bloated piece of crap and a lame attempt at being eye candy, (mod me down or as a troll or flamebait i dont give a fuck), i am going to put my two cents in while the top is on the front page.
make the intertubes like a public street or flea market where anyone can set up shop or make their opinion known, I do not want any one entity to dominate and control the internet, it needs to be free and neutral and available for anybody.
