  1. how exactly ford bit torrent destory the "magic" on MPAA Blames BitTorrent for Star Wars Distribution · · Score: 0

Those who download on Bit Torrent, do so out of choice, and undoubtedly dont care about in-theatre "magic". Those who dont, or who go to the theatre as well downloading the movie get the same experience, regardless of whether their friend downloaded it, or they do later that night. If anything, early downloaders could increase hype by saying it was good before most have seen it (im assuming it was).

So if by magic they mean money, and they always do -- then george lucas is a tiny bit worse off, boo-hoo for the billionare. Id be happier going to the theatres for EVERY movie that comes out if it didnt cost me $10 bloody dollars per seat.

So microsoft mobile is gonna revolutionize phones Bill? Yeah it definately makes them crash more often. So microsoft janus will crush the ipod Bill? Well thats good, their 90% mp3 market share is getting annoying, they almost have a monopoly, and monopolies are bad. Oh and now of course microsoft search will dominate... nevermind the fact about not even being able to make a secure browser in the first place. I mean who would defend them, everyone hates spyware -- no one will try to keep them from being convicted i assure you.

Also you have to assume english spyware is more commonly created in English speaking countries, like Austrailia the USA etc -- so this law can make a difference, assuming they put the funds needed to actually track spyware makers down. The virginia spam law's only problem was that they only went after big fish due to resource limitations.
