I don't think they would take the risk for the dozen or so possible customers on Linux. The only reason they are doing Apple is because Vista drove up the customer base significantly. That, plus the hardware is pretty much fixed to a limited set.
These are things that we would never know without our government point it out: coffee is hot, fast food is fattening and blocks arteries, cigarettes causes lung disease, and now....young children and choke on food.
Considireing the crap in the NYT (Yes, I have read other peoples copy), why would you pay anything for it? I would much rather read and watch Glenn Beck, Rachel Maddow, Sean Hannity, Olberman, and so on (although Glenn is a little extremist, he is entertaining if you understand what is really going on). Anyone not paying attention deserves what this government will be doing to them.
This is why I do not buy anything from Apple. I will not be forced into a little bubble like all of you cattle out there. I have missed nothing as the result. By the way, my phone dose multitasking and I am not banned from anything (except Apple).
There is also no calculation for the loan rate to buy the machine as well. Almost nobody pays out cash so the cost of borrowing twice as much raises the price over the life of the machine significantly more. Feel good all you want. I will take my propane Zamboni and run over you with your electric.
Just for the record, Americans are much less "trusting" of their government than Chinese people.
I agree. Chinese people have no choice but to trust their government, or, be dragged off to prison or killed. I would claim to trust my government under those condition too. It only appears that Americans are less trusting because we say so. The problem is that Americans have a dependent number of citizens that do trust government.
Government sponsored = fishy. I don't see the problem here unless you want to consider, my money being confiscated to do something I don't want to finance. Oh wait, my grandchildren will finance.
Really so. I buy a phone for talking and texting, same as most of the people I know. They may have a fancier phone but this is about all they do with it. Keep the cheap phones for making phone calls and the game computers for playing games.
This is typical for the federal government. Not only is it unconstitutional (10th amendment) but, more than 60% of what is spent will go to the beurocracy and it will just suck up more tax dollars. Soon enough there will be no money for any of these programs because there will be nobody left to pay the taxes.
There isn't enough of a game market on a Mac to justify the expense. You have to pick the largest base when it is over 50% to be profitable. Unless you don't mind loosing to money.
OpenGL will not support features that games need, across platforms. OpenGL is written for the software and does not utilize all of the true 3D realizations of the hardware. To write any modern game on OpenGL is a dismal failure.

It reads like sour grapes to me. If there wasn't enough money in doing it (either promotional or customer desires), then they wouldn't be doing it.

"making vehicles up to 15 percent lighter"
There is now a 35% better chance of a fatality in an accident.
The logs should be kept only for those willing to pay for it. This is an unrealistic legal requirement that the ISPs have the right to refuse.
This is why most of that data resides in devices that cannot be mined (like never connected to a network).
You are a minority. Admins use Windows so that they can play games in between work breaks.
Not the Catholic church. They are more of a cult than a church. Just look at the history and origin.

1) Provide money and pay the big costs while artists are producing their album
I have heard many quality recordings from basement studios built on a shoestring budget. This cost has dropped significantly.
2) Provide marketing
This can be done cheaply on the internet. It is done all of the time.
3) Find the promising artists and writers
They know who they are.
4) Have the distribution channels
Yea, like the internet doesn't work.
Even simpler. I don't watch it at all.

I can boot Linux on my T-mobile G1. I guess that is.....well.....oops.

My church has gotten me many volunteer work and connected me with the Red Cross which is now using my services.
And why is this significant? This information should be under the topic of "Idle"!

Yea, I've played them. They lack the realism that current games have. I don't play them anymore.

And that will be you paying for it. Let me know how that works out for you.
Thank you. Words of a wise one are always appreciated!
